“Horrible service”
Eh....
the store is so small and i feel so clustered and like im not able to move freely about and the service was ok i mean massages are not a plus felt a little pain in the back afterwards.
Also, received a manicure and a pedicure and it kinda felt blan nothing special like it wasnt even refreshing just feels like i dipped my foot in water and sent home i dont like to hate on people but defnitly not the best spa
Great service!!!. I've tried many Mani/pedi places in the city and this particular location is the best of the best! Great attention to detail, the Mani or pedi last longer than anywhere else. Ask for choi, maria or Jun
Horrible service. I recently got a pedicure at spa belles and it was one of the worst ones that I have ever received. It took about 10 minutes and my feet felt no better after I left. I tried to go back and complain the next day and the "manager" wouldn't talk to me- there is no "boss" for me to talk to, they do no credits and overall she was incredibly rude, barely looking at me. For a well established boutique, I am HIGHLY disappointed- this is more than I normally pay for a pedicure and by far the worst. I would STEER CLEAR!
Crumbling and dirty spa facility.
The last time I went to the 2nd Ave. Spa Belles I witnessed a scary sight - the pail full of dirty floor water was dumped into a foot spa for use as a drain and then a client was put into that exact chair only to have her feet submerged into an unrinsed foot spa along with the hot water and soap!
This is a detiorating space with duct tape on the equipment, torn chairs and careless management. At one time it was the only game in town in this area, but those days are over. Ironically, that is when they tried hardest to please.
I will not be going back.
Full-body relaxation is closer, quicker and cheaper than Manhattanites might have thought..
In Short
This bright spa chain may look like just another spot for a quick polish change. But past the rows of manicure stations, pedicure tubs and black leather massage chairs are private rooms that host facials, waxing, massages and exotic body wraps--even microdermabrasion and oxygen therapy. The convenience is made even more so with 30-minute express facials ($40), which include steaming, deep cleansing, a face massage and mask.
