Great Moroccan/Med food. Went for lunch, service was great, food delicious. Excellent branzino with vegetables, meditteranean salads and Moroccan mint tea with chocolate souffle. Very good pick.

Great Date place. This is a great place to go on with on a date; the space is small and quaint. The staff is very accommodating and the food is very good. It is also centrally located, which makes it easy to get to.

They also have the best mint tea!

Cute little oasis in the middle of Murray Hill. I love the look and feel of this restaurant. It's small, intimate and they serve a "mean" couscous -- delicious! I don't know if it's just my luck, but every time I've been there, the place was not too crowded, which made it extra special and romantic for us. Of course, you MUST finish your meal with a potent cup of Moroccan mint tea.

Something Different - Fusion Edition. A sweet find in Murrayhill, especially if you have their block of chicken dish. Staff treat you like family, and they aim to please. They add to the neighborhood's restaurant choices. Go during the week for a low key quiet meal. Come on the weekend and you'll find them packed - but some how they'll always find you a table.

Great Service. I have been coming to Barbes for about 3 years and this is a very good place. They have EXCELLENT customer service. The place is small so they can spend a lot of time servicing us. The food is solid and the area is good. They are located on a block with some pretty good bars & lounges.

A great "little" find. I have been dining at Barbes since they opened and have never been disappointed. The one thing that everyone always agrees on referring to Barbes is the genuine hospitality and graciousness from the staff. The food has always been good and the atmosphere is so cozy that sometimes I hate to leave. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

worst place ever. The worst place ever. The manager & staff is so unfriendly and they complained that we didn't leave enough tip, when the bill was $240 and we left $310. That should be more then enough tip for a party of 5. Very unprofessional and very rude. Totally don't recommend.
