Editorial Review for Brgr – by Erin Behan
The Scene
Fast-food chic invades an otherwise dreary stretch of Seventh Avenue with striking results. Exposed brick walls, a bright orange and red color scheme, and butcher-block tables strike a harmonious balance. Though patrons order at the counter, food is delivered to the tables, and service is quick in spite of the written warnings that made-to-order food takes time.
The Food
In trendy fashion, the farmed source of the meats is listed on a prominent chalkboard. Though the combinations seem endless (14 in all), the main conundrum is beef, turkey or veggie. The turkey burger wins as the juiciest and most flavorful, especially when topped with nutty Gruyere. Add bacon to mellow the overly smoky beef version. All toppings--from radish sprouts to sweet onion marmalade--are market fresh. A welcome overindulgence is the addictive "onion hay" (aka onion straws). Ronnybrook Dairy provides the base for the thick, classic shakes.

One step above McDonald's. There are a lot of burger places in NYC. i would not recommend going to this one. Burger was average, atmosphere was blah.
Cons: Food and Service

And that was just the veggie burger. The fries were like fast food, and the shake wasn't as great as the reviews said it was. I spent almost $20 there. For the only time ever.
Pros: none
Cons: overpriced, bad food
