Great place for pilates!

by cat12345

I started working out at Rinaldi with Michelle about a year ago and it's been a great experience! Having started pilates 4 years ago, I've tried out a few different studios in the city and I prefer Rinaldi because of the intructors, the quiet, clean studio and the flexibility in scheduling. As long as I'm in NYC, Rinaldi will continue to be my pilates studio!

Instructors: I work out mostly with Michelle but have also enjoyed working with Kristen - classical pilates instruction and they always keep it interesting and challenging for all levels of pilates experience. Even though I've been doing pilates for a few years, Michelle has pushed me to focus on my form and strength in ways I hadn't before which has in turn made me stronger and always leads to a great workout!

Studio: Other studios are either too loud (with multiple sessions going on at once or a class taking place) or just too big for me. I prefer 1 on 1 coaching sessions for my workout so this environment is perfectly suited for me.

Scheduling: At other studios, the scheduling process would drive me mad. I work late so scheduling times later in the evening is a priority for me. At other studios, it was hard to get the right time with my preferred instructor and once scheduled, it was impossible to change anything. Michelle really works with you to find times that are convenient for you and she lets you know when other spots open up that might be better for you. This extra effort is truly appreciated and makes the experience so much more enjoyable!

Incredible pilates instructors!

by NadineNadine

I started at Rinaldi Pilates two years ago when I decided to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. I had knee problems and Michele and Kristin tailored my workouts to help me train for the climb while taking my limitations into account. Even after the climb, I continued with Rinaldi Pilates until I moved to Philadelphia. Still, I never miss a session when I'm back in New York for a visit! Thank you!!!

  • Pros: private focused sessions, knowledgeable instructors
  • Cons: sorry I didn't find them sooner

Just in time for the Holidays!

by FinkHalz1

I came across Rinaldi Plilates on one of my favorite fitness blogs, Vital Juice. They were offering an awesome Introductory Special and I couldn't resist trying the studio-- with its boutique style and one-on -one training, it seemed like a Pilates experience unlike any other I had ever experienced... and that was exactly right. Michele, the owner, worked me hard but also took the time to explain the proper alignments and postures. I can't express how grateful I am for having tried this studio and how much I am looking forward to incorporating it into my New Year's workout routine!

I HIGHLY recommend Rinaldi Pilates to Pilates enthusiasts of any level! Great studio!

The Best Pilates Session EVER!!!

by Andreena

I have worked with many different trainers over the years and I have never met a group of trainers more aware and perceptive to the individual goals and needs of each client. Each session is tailored specifically for you. You not only do the moves, you learn to do them correctly. I’ve worked muscles I never knew existed and my body has completely transformed! The atmosphere is warm, friendly and very private. It’s difficult for me to write in words how absolutely amazing a session at Rinaldi Pilates truly is! All I can say is that in all my years of doing pilates, Rinaldi Pilates is definitely unsurpassed!!

  • Pros: Incredible Trainers in a Great Atmosphere!

Great studio!

by newyorkian

Having spent many years playing the piano for 4-7 hours a day (not always with perfect posture), I have very specific needs and difficulties when it comes to exercise. I have worked with Andrea at Rinaldi Pilates for over a year now, and have found her to be not only an excellent pilates instructor, but also very intuitive when it comes to figuring out a solution to a physical issue. I have also worked with Michelle, on occasion, who is great! Both instructors are serious about their work and open-minded enough to consider the unique strengths and weaknesses of each individual. Both also have a great sense of humor, which is refreshing in a field which can take itself quite seriously! The small studio size makes for a private and focused workout setting. Overall, highly recommended.

  • Pros: Very attentive and knowledgeable staff, private setting
