In Short – "It's a secret," the chipper staff of Edith Machinist will tell you if you ask where they acquire their array of vintage boots and bags. There's a reason for all the secrecy; other vintage stores would love to know how this Lower East Side boutique assembled one the best vintage collections in the city. The clothing, mostly originating from the 1940s to 1980s, is arranged by color, with simple white shelves proudly displaying bags from the likes of Gucci and Fendi among others.

I went to Edith Machinist to look for boot and found the perfect pair. The handbags are great and I can't wait to go back and scoop one up. Def. worth a visit!!
