This pool room has it all: Great leagues, great scene, great drink prices, great staff. I especially like the fact that they incorporate so many different things to do while you're there. I have been to many rooms across the nation and overseas and this one always comes up in conversations. They're world famous! You also have a chance to meet pro ball players, pro pool players, and other celebrities if you go.

Don't be misled by the last review. Obviously the person is with Eastside Billiards. They recommend going to Eastside or Slate yet they slam Slate as well. Kinda fishy if you ask me. Amsterdam Billiards is a fun place to be. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and the place itself is awesome. I've been there on a regular night and to a coupld of corporate events and I always have a fun time. Plus there's always a chance of a celebrity or professional player sighting. Who wouldn't want to shoot where the pros go. Hey and if you're not a pool player you can always chill at the bar, throw some darts or play a little ping pong. There's even a little lounge area where you can just relax with you're friends and watch the games on tv. I love it there and I highly recommend it. Check it out for yourself - you can be the judge.
