Once you're in, it's fine.. I cannot begin to describe, in my 10 or so visits there, how ignorant and rude the bouncers are. Once inside, I was treated very well. But first impressions are everything, and the bouncers at the door ruin that. I'm not the only review that points this out, so I hope the owner will read these reviews and take them to heart. We are not all "village idiots", and given the amount of money that we can spend in this bar, should not be treated like one. It's called good business.

Awful!. Based on the other reviews, I guess I'm not the only one.

I was just there tonight . . . and I got booted from my seat!!! I literally had the seat taken out from under me and made to stand!! I went there to listen to the live music, thought I was having a good time, bought 4 drinks and tipped well. Then, all of a sudden 2 big bouncers come over. One demands my chair. The other one makes me pick up my stuff from the floor. HOW RUDE!!!

Yeah, I was having a good time enjoying the music for awhile, but that was it for me. I left immediately. Good bye!

Fabulous Karaoke!!!. Great drink prices and even better karaoke! Was extremely entertained by the singers and could afford to get some liquid courage myself! I went there for the Jets playoff game and Tuesday for karaoke! Such a blast!

Can be okay.. avoid the crazy fat bartender. Well, i have been there a couple of time be recently this place really disappointed me.

First, I'd like to say that I take shower twice a day, wear clean clothes, and I spray deodorant.. haha.

So i've been there last week wed. Me and my buddy are visiting NYC and happened to find that place by chances.

we came back on thursday night, at some point, around 1am or so. I went to the bar ordering a drink. The waiter, the slightly fatty one with dark hair told me something like "you smell really bad, you gonna have to spray or leave"... I was like "Is this some kind of joke"? and thought the guy was kidding. I remained nice and eventually i took that damn spray and said "haha... well this is awkward but... anyway"

I went back and ask my friend to be honest and tell me whether i stink or not. He laughed and thought i was kidding him.

10 minutes later, the black shoulder long dread bouncer came and told me there were some complaint and I would have to leave once i would have finished my drink. He was cool, though. I tried to go "negociate" with the waiter the time i was finishing my drink but obviously he didnt even want to talk to me and ask the bouncer to get me. I ended up speaking to the bouncer who asked me to speak to what i assumed was his manager. The 2nd bouncer was surprised, laughted, smelled me, and eventually told his buddy "whatever its fine"

I heard like 2 guys saying "...and he told me i smelled bad..." that night. I think the bartender has really a big damn problem.

Its not a joke, the next day, I was happy to spend my bucks in a place where i dont stink.

"We've had a few horrible bartenders in the past who couldn't manage to make drinks properly or acted inappropriately towards our patrons. During the recruitment process, it's easy to misread how talented someone really is, until they're placed in the battle field. Almost anyone can make a drink, but the key ingredients in being successful at tending a bar is speed, memory and professionalism.

These days our recruitment process is a lot more stringent and are staff is well versed in many other tasks required in the bar business. Thanks to the owner for that.

Rude Bouncers!. 3 times I've been to wicked willy's. And three times on different occassions the bouncers have been complete asses! This is a personal expierence; okay I admit I look young so I understand the extra caution, but when a person brings along a second i.d. mind you it was my old 21 and under i.d. to a bar + my new 21 and over i.d. there should be no problem comparing and lookign at the name and the bod and the address to say this is a legit i.d.! But wicked willy's has yet to amaze me and there stupidity to allow me to enter. Even with a credit card a 3rd form of i.d. with my name on it they refused to let me in. And not to mention the rude remarks by the bouncers was very unecessary. The same expierence happened to two of my friends, but on different occassions. The staff, their intelligence level, and their manners must be improved dramatically.

It's always a fine line trying to keep the place safe by hiring active security guards and still maintaining a friendly demeanor with our patrons. On the one hand, they maintain the safety of personal items; purses, wallets, cell phones....etc, on the other hand, they do have to observe a firm tone when dealing with the patrons. Since, majority of our regulars have fraternity ties, things can get pretty awry, if authority is lax in maintaining order.

We're still actively searching for middle grounds of the push-over security and tough love security. However, we do appreciate your feedback.

Worst Bar I ever been, in Manhattan. As soon as you walk into the bar, the bouncers treat you like shit.

I walked into the bar, and the bouncers looked at me and assume that I was snorting coke in the restroom.

Thank God I never used drugs in my life. but i can tell you this, they made an ass off themselves, and I will never recomend my friends to go to that low class bar.

Awful. Tiniest martini glasses I have ever seen! Not to mention it tasted like cough syrup. Beer pong is fun, but it doesn't make up for the dirty atmosphere.

Best Place for Karaoke. I was in here last week and the place was great. Karaoke and beer pong were going all night. What more can you ask for a bar. This place is certainly one of my favorite places to grab drinks with co-workers after work. The happy hour is great and very affordable.

Rude security stagg. Staff members will take your seat away while you are still in it!

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. It's been a natural behavior of some of our former servers to snatch seats away from existing patrons in order to make room for new patrons. We weren't aware the seat was physically pulled from underneath while you were still in it.

However, we can assure you that we have undergone an overhaul and now hired a more versatile and customer-service oriented crew. Thanks for your feedback
