GREAT FIND! friends and I were recently shopping @ Housingworks in Chelsea for vintage stuff. Little did we expect to find such a great Dermatologist in the area. There was a list of insurances accepted on the strorefront, ours was on the list :) We booked an appointment and just had a good experience. This Doc knows derm, & cares ( actually sat down to listen).My precancers are doing great with some in office treatment and to my surprise my son's acne is actually getting better ( I had almost given up on it) . My son had all these expensive treatments PRIOR to Dr Z, and after several visits with Dr Z ,he looks and more importantly FEELS better.

As for me cancer free and staying that way.

HIGHLY recommend Dr Z.

Only drawback my insurance stinks, I need referrals

Is this guy really this good? Too many positive reviews ...

Just wanted to know..ive searched for Zelaya on the web and too many similar usages of the word "Zen" turned up on separate reviews..might be a coincidence..can anyone confirm whether this guy is as good as they say? Some of the reviews look very suspiciously self-written!!!

THE BEST DOCTOR'S OFFICE EXPERIENCE YOU WILL EVER HAVE!

When I first called Dr. Zelaya's office to make my appointment, right off the bat I knew that my visit would be pleasant one. The receptionist was very pleasant and informative. She was very knowledgeable about all the services I inquired about and very helpful with giving me directions on how to get there. There was no hassle or fuss. When I got to the office I was blown away by the ambiance. Think Japanese Zen. Not only is it very clean, but comfortable and serene as well. It wasn't crowded with many people or loud by any means. Again, the receptionist was very inviting and pleasant. The wait was nothing compared to other doctor's offices that I have been to. I filled out my forms and waited for about 10 minutes and I was already in the room with the doctor. Dr. Zelaya was amazing! He was very nice and comforting, not like some other doctors who like to rush you or barely ask you any questions. He was very informative and energetic, making me feel as if he wanted to rid me of my condition as much as I wanted it to be also. All in all, this place is fantastic! A sweet doctor with a staff to match! I definitely enjoyed going to his office and I recommend it to anyone out there! Plus, there is also an esthitician on staff, who does waxing, facials, and massages! I for one will definitely be making an appointment with her sometime soon (who doesn't like massages and facials?!), and I'm sure she is as nice as everyone else in Dr. Zelaya's office. This place is definitely a must!
