If you haven't tried Kim's in Throggs Neck, you're missing out.... Kim has been serving the Throggsneck community, where Kim's Chinese and Sushi is located, for over 18 years. I met Kim 10 years ago and in that time have become really good friends with her. I have also met many customers that say they have been her customers for over 18 years and follow her from place to place (the food is really good). This location is small and only has seating for 6 customers at a time, but the food is terrific here. Although I haven't tasted most of the items on the menu, what I have tasted, I liked. The General Tso and Sesame chicken are superb. The Singapore Mei Fun is to die for, and the sushi is always fresh and tasty (you have to try the onion sauce). The sushi platter prices are also REALLY LOW, but you have to order in advance as the place gets really busy sometimes. They also have an on-line menu with pictures of the food they sell, and offer free delivery in the area. I gave it only four stars because of the limited seating and sometimes busy atmosphere (people coming in and out). This is also the only place that I know of that sells Lobster Egg Rolls, and only for $1.50 an eggroll.
