More Than Just a Diner. The service is always good, you know how when you need something in a regular diner, the waiter disappears for a while? This doesnt happen here. The food is terrific. Nick and Gus always take care of everything for you. Pablo the waiter is the one you want to serve you. Everyone that works there greets you with a smile. Even the chef that can see you through the little window smiles. I would crawl naked over broken glass to eat at Moonstruck. Why do I think regular chairs are good. I am very over weight, and you that are also overweight know that we the bigger people cant sit comfortably at a booth. And most diners only have Booths. Moonstruck has tons of chairs at tables.

Good food, reasonable price. This is a good chain diner, you know what you're going to get. The prices are reasonable and there is a pretty huge selection.

It crawled across our table!!!. After seeing a thing that isn't allowed by this site to name crawl from under the soup bowl we called the busboy over and asked for the check (who wants to eat after seeing that on the table!). We complained to the manger who's reply was "This is New York, you've never seen a ____ before?!?!". Then the manager proceeded to accuse us of making it up in an effort to get free food!! His own busboy had just smashed the thing! They not only charged us for the full amount - food we didn't eat after the ____ sauntered across the table - but then yelled at us for 'causing a scene'! NEVER EAT IN THIS RESTAURANT - ____ may have been the best thing about the place!

Diner food. Nuff said.. Reg diner food. I have to say i was impressed with the egg and spinach w/ feta. It wasn't dry. Thumbs up. Other than that---i can go anywhere for this food.

WTF?!?!. The clumsy bus boy refilled my water in my glass of sprite...then when he walked away i think he knew that i knew that he knew that he goofed up and poured the water in the wrong glass..he gave a look back at me as he was walking away..

I was with clients, it was embarrassing to all of us..Overall it was a nice power lunch dining experience.

Avoid! Better diners two blocks north or south!. Food here is okay, although it is super-greasy and tends to come out cold. Prices are astronomical -- Tramway Diner and the diner a few blocks south are much better bets for food, price and service. This place nickles and dimes you on the tax added to prices. When asked to show me how they calculate tax, the obnoxious old man behind the register refused to use a calculator and told me it was all in his head. He then threatened to call the police (called his bluff) and asked to "take this outside". All because he refused to use a calculator! I've seen him in arguments with other customers before. Completely insane! Frequent a business who appreciates customers and doesn't rip you off for a dime. Moon-sucks.

Editorial Review. Modern spot serves traditional diner fare in a welcoming and relaxed setting downtown.
