Worst Club in my lifetime!!! Rip off!. Worst Club I have ever been to! There was never one time I could dance to a song without being interrupted the midget waiter that had to walk by. She literally had to walk through me 10 times! The people in the front were jerks they made us wait on line when no one was even on line. Paying to party and for drinks is not a problem because I know it comes with the territory but I was also charged an extra 10 bucks because I had a hat when I could have easily put it in coat check. I do not even know why they have a dress code when the let grown men come in with their pants down to their knees, timberlands, du rags, Nike boots and fake thug beads. I know teenagers that are more mature and left the "fake thug" high school phase. I hate this club with a passion and I will never come back. I spent about 50 bucks, which was a waste! I was stepped on and drinks dropped on me the entire night! The promoters were good but the venue is a nightmare, my apartment is just as big as this club is! DO NOT GO TO RUNWAY!!!!!

SMOKING W**D. PRETTY SMALL PLACE, OVER CROWED. I WAS THERE SAT 1/3/09 AND AS THE NIGHT WENT ON MY FRIENDS AND I STARTED SMELLING MARJUA. I SAW A WHOLE BUNCH OF GUYS GO INTO THE DOOR MARKED GENTELMEN, I GUESS THATS WHERE THE MARJUA SMOKING WAS TAKING PLACE. SOME PEOPLE WERE EVEN SMOKING AND PREPARING TO SMOKE RIGHT BY THE BAR. IF U CANT SMOKE CIGARETTES IN A CLUB WHY DOES MANAGEMENT ALLOW MARJUA OF THINGS TO SMOKE. NEXT YOU'LL SEE C**CK HEADS ON LINE READY TO DANCE AND SMOKE D*U*S RIGHT ON THE DANCE FLOOR. WHAT A BIG TURN OFF. THE MUSIC WAS GOOD. I HAD A GOOD TIME BUT I DONT WANNA FEEL LIKE I GOTTA WATCH THESE GUYS WHO ARE SMOKING JUST IN CASE PEOPLE START FIGHTING.

New years eve bash. I disagree with the comments about the bouncers not letting anyone who wasn't white into the club because 90 % of the crowd was non white. There was no light in the bathroom and doors didn't lock. I was very disappointed that there was no count down to the new year!!!!

Overpriced but friendly staff. I went here on a Friday night and got there early, (before midnight), and was charged with a $20 cover. No problem. Then the $5 coat MANDATORY coat check. No problem. Then the $13 drink. No problem, this is Manhattan after all. But I was very disappointed by the turnout of the club. The DJ who opened up was TERRIBLE. S/he made several mistakes and could not mix for at all. The main DJ was good. The staff was friendly but the club was half empty for most of the night. This club didn't pick up until 3 am and I can't reccomend a place like that for the price they are charging. There are better places to go for much cheaper that fill up faster with people who came to party.

My horrible experience at runway for my 29th birthday party
The so called "chill factor Saturdays" at runway promoted by Cris AC was the WORST club experience I'VE EVER HAD. Not only is the " open bar" miss leading. Only drinks made with bottom shelf vodka ONLY are free for that one hour. All other drinks are ridiculously over priced with no special deals. You can hardly call out your order or get to the bar. The floor is tiny and packed with rude, low class guest. No space is allotted to pass from door to bar forcing me to get jabbed in the chest and stepped on repeatedly. The music is blasted and the DJ never leaves a song on for more then 20 seconds.
NO ONE at the door knows anything or can offer any explanation why the promised offer by Cris AC promoter of express VIP admission. ( my friends and I waited 20 min to get in the door). and Free bottle of champagne. A bottle i confirmed early that day was NEVER given. I had to chase down another promoter as CRIS AC was NOT present and beg them to contact someone to give me the bottle. A lame excuse that no manager was available even at 12:30am to hand out drink tickets was offered.
My guest where highly disappointed but no one more upset by this horrendous service then me. My birthday party was a disaster. I WILL NEVER USE CRIS AC OR GO TO RUNWAY AGAIN. I suggest anyone who is planning a birthday party look elsewhere for a good time.

Runway was amazing!!!. omg i had soooo much fun that night i went on a saturday... i think it was the best place iv'e ever been to!!! the dj was sooo good he put all types of music the people and the staff were very nice...the bouncers are totally down to earth...the other reviews i have no idea what they were talking about..it was probably under a different managment or something but that is sooooooo wrong!!...you can also go and dance on the runway and strut your stuff...the guys were hottt!!..the ladies were really pretty too...everything is great here the drinks are the best!

best club music and freindly staff.
nice place had a great time every body was nice that works in club .
Only thing i didnt like was when some kids got jumped out side club bouncers didnt help and thought it was funny that it was 4 on 15 or more orther then that that place is beuitiful and would go there again

Great New Year's night party, and the discrimination rumors are false..
Ok, So I went to Runway with my wife and 4 other friends for new year's night. One thing is for sure, ALL THE STUPID NEGATIVE REVIEWS FOR THIS PLACE ARE WRONG. This is not a mega club, rather a nice, niche place in new york. But I didnt find this place discriminating AT ALL. Bourgeois? Yes, discriminating? No!! and my whole group was total in & out Asian, or to use the right lingo, Desi. The bouncers were nice, girls were smokin hot, drinks were good, and we had a blast. I think it this way, if you go to a club and BEHAVE, you would be respected. And this doesn't mean that you can't hook up with a girl(or "s"). One of our friend kissed 7 dames that night, and got numbers from two (and being an ex eligible bachelor, this aint a bad score).
Over all a great place and a great value for $200 a pop!! and did i mention free drinks on new year's eve? The website is a bit over hyped, but the place is good, and good management. Thanks for a good party Runway.

Best Birthday ever. Me and my girls had an amazing time at Runway we danced all night and had a blast. The music was awesome. I'll definetly go back. Great energy!!

I LOVE RUNWAY!. I love this place! Read through the reviews and im shocked.. i've been there many times and never heard a complaint from anyone.. and for those of you that are writing about the $$$ of the bottles.. its the same at every club really.. if u dont want to spend the cash go to a bar.. dont go to a club.. they aren't snobby at the door and the bartenders are amazing.. ill def b there again..
