Excited to try out some tasty treats here, based in the word of mouth I've heard. They do have very good sweets, but they're so tiny :( not a lot for your money. Again, very good, just a little too small for what I was expecting.

Delicious!. This place is a NYC gem and Chelsea's lucky to have it. The treats are smaller than your run of the mill Italian pastries that I'm used to which is perfect. This is a great place to go to before visiting a friend, there are original gifts and house stuff and you'll be a hit bringing a box of the goodies. I had the ice cream sandwiches, the marshmallows, and a bunch of the tarts....all were fantastic and will have me coming back for more. The store itself is CLean, quaint and a nice place to pass some time sipping a coffee and eating a treat.

Chocolate Pralines = Heaven. Treats here at Three Tarts are beyond addictive. If I'm in Chelsea and I need a pick-me-up nothing does the trick faster than their chocolate pralines. (I'm a fan of the chocolate yumballs, too, but really everything is good, even the savory tarts!) Everything is bite-sized, so you never feel like you're overdoing it, and each one is beautifully created. Aside from the pastries, which are the main attraction, the shop is crazy-cute. I'm always eyeballing their selection of cards. But really the sweets are the main attraction.

Delicious!. I had never been here before but my friend told me about it, so when I was close by I stopped in. First thing I thought was 'how cute is this place'! They not only have yummy treats, but cute little gifts. I tried the marshmallows, and the espresso tarts, and I know I'll be back soon! Love it!

mediocre!. I was excited to try the place out, but it was not all that great. The store is cute, but there was nothing special about any of the desserts. we tried truffles, pinenut custard cups and some orange mousse. they were ok, but super tiny. it was difficult to make out the taste. i wouldn't go there again.

Really great find!. I saw the positive reviews on this site and decided to check it out. I'm a baking and pastry student currently. I had the goat cheese panna cotta with orange jewel gelee, mango sorbet, and unsweetened iced green tea. All three were really delicious. The iced tea was was freshly brewed and really strong (which I enjoy). The goat cheese panna cotta was tangy and very creamy. The mango sorbet was so creamy with a vibrant ripe mango flavor. The one thing that I was a bit surprised at when I walked in was that all the desserts are very small. The prices are very reasonable and the man behind the counter was very sweet and so helpful! The bakery also has a gift shop. There are only three tables so, seating is limited.

Nobody better at what they do!. Sure the shop is cute. Yes, the staff is friendly and helpful. So what, I don't care! When treats are THIS tasty, I'd settle for nasty staff in a dumpy store. (After all, poor help and dirty shops seem to be a typical NYC experience. Not here!) Don't ask me to name a favorite treat, because it's impossible to do so. The yumballs, the parfaits, the bread pudding, the hot cocoa (with or without marshmallows!), the cookies - all insanely delicious. You want me to name a favorite? Fine, it's a toss-up between any of the truffles and the brownies. I'll say it again - insanely delicious! Best of all, they could easily charge 50% more than what they do on most of their treats. (Don't tell them though...)

The shop is also filled with cute little gifty type things, though, I'm a guy, what do I know? I don't go there for the aprons, the hostess journals, the baby gifts, the books, or the greeting cards. I don't even go there for glimpses of the cute owner. It's simply all about the treats. Highly recommended!

Unbelievably Good!. When I was visiting NYC yesterday, the salesperson in La Cafetiere (a home decor store in the next block south -- also well worth visiting) suggested that my sister and I check out Three Tarts after we left. I found Three Tarts to be a very pretty little shop and decided to buy a couple of mini bread puddings (just $0.75 each) and two Crunchy Almond Meringue cookies ($0.60 each). When I actually bit into these items later in the day, I was blown away by how fantastic they tasted, as well as the utter perfection of each item's crunchy-chewiness. Wow!

Very original place. I found Three Tarts a new idea of store in the Chelsea area, which represents a great combination of sweeties and gifts. Its major fetaure is that the quality of both categories of products is very high.... mmmhhhh, delicious truffles!!! and also very original ideas on gifts. Food is made by the owners of

the store, and they are delicious and very kind to illustrate you the details of everything available. So, don't miss it, just go and try!!!!
