highly professional massage therapist, meticulous yoga teacher. Jason is a pro, knows exactly what he's doing, and he works tirelessly to get your muscles back in shape. I didn't have any particular pressing complaints going in, just a need for a good, deep massage, and he found all my hidden tight spots and worked out the tension. He's also one of my yoga teachers, and he pays close attention to the details, in an Iyengar way. And he's very nice! A good bonus. I highly recommend him for massage and yoga instruction.

Best Massage Therapist in New York City. I've been to many massage therapists and Jason is a very special one.

His vast knowledge and the fact that he's one of the best Yoga teachers I've practiced with makes him a pro.

He listens to your body and understands it. He's a true healer and a very nice person.

I highly recommend a shiatsu.

The end to your search for a great deep-tissue massage.. I have wasted too much time and money going to massage therapists who claim to do deep tissue massage, but whose massages more closely resemble tickling. Jason is strong, obviously well-trained, and even a nice guy. Whenever I leave his office I feel as though all of my muscles have been repaired. As an added bonus, his office is right near the Columbus Circle subway station, making it easy to get to from anywhere.

A Real Healer. I went to see Jason after spending two days with a pain in the neck so severe that even stepping off the curb caused me to wince. I found Jason to be a very professional and caring healer. He was thorough, knowledgeable and very easy to be around. My pain is nearly gone (two days after the massage). I'm truly appreciative of him and his talent.

Definately a good choice!. Jason is a terrific massage therapist and an exceptional yoga instructor. One of the key reasons for this is he is very knowledgeable about the human body. I do yoga and massage for my health and fitness but also because I have aches and pains from sports and aging. Jason has insight into what's going on and how to address it through both yoga and massage. He's attentive, caring and constructive. I highly recommend him.

Jason Brown's massage saved my back!. I'm doing 40 days of yoga at 40 different studios, and I came by to see Jason during mid way. My back was like putty with nerve endings and his work was amazing! I told him the areas I would like to be worked and he gave each o fthem some extra attention--which I was thankful for. By the end of the session a lot of what had been bothering me was put to rest. I'm grateful for his practice, he's DEF the real deal. And, the massage helped me stay on track towards my goal doing yoga for 40 consecutive days.

Thanks Jason!

OH! Other pluses--his office is centrally located in Columbus Circle. It's clean, in a professional environment with a great view and natural light.

Best Theraeutic, tension-relieving massage I've ever had, and he's really nice too!. I scheduled a massage with Jason Brown after realizing that my yoga practice

alone would not release all the tension in my body. Having only had one previous

massage at a spa I was a little unsure as to what to expect, but Jason?s grounded

energy and warmth made me feel comfortable and in capable hands. My deep

tissue massage was so much more than the "feel-good", relaxing experience I had

anticipated. Jason?s exquisite knowledge of the body and his ability to cater

specifically to my body?s needs allowed me to walk away feeling a real sense of

relief. And I felt better for the next few weeks! As a yoga instructor and student of

anatomy and the bio-mechanics of movement, I learned a lot about my body and it's habits while recieving this massage. I would recommend Jason to anyone seeking a massage, either for relaxation or therapeutic purposes. He's great!

if you are not sure how to slow down and feeling like you need to, Jason is your man. As an ex college athlete, being active was a huge part of my life and I

prided myself on serious fitness. In light of this, I was not really

connecting to the spiritual side of yoga, seeing it instead as more of a

workout. My life was nonstop and stressful and I was suddenly given a

forced moment of pause with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. The trick to

this disease is to not get stressed and I came to Jason privately not having

a clue how to recalibrate myself. In the few months I have worked with him,

I have started to learn how to breathe (sounds ridiculous but true). I have

found my day to day existence still full of a busy career and a solid social

life, but with a new awareness that has kept my MS in check. I am also

being educated on the finer points of yoga poses which has made yoga classes

a completely different and challenging experience for me. Jason has been an

awesome investment and if you are not sure how to slow down and feeling a

need to, I would absolutely recommend meeting him.

Yoga and wellness. My partner and I have been practicing Yoga with Jason for about five years. We each have some minor physical concerns and our requirements and abilities differ. Additionally my partner has his work stress to contend with. But Jason always manages with knowledge and enthusiasm to show great respect for us and our individuality through careful attention to the needs and goals of both our Yoga practices. He is thoroughly committed to bringing his expanding knowledge of health and well-being to us. He shares words of wisdom from his readings and encourages creative meditation practices for city dwellers who don't always have the luxury of monastic silence or spa-like rooms. He is a committed Yoga practitioner in every sence of the word and a positive influence in our lives. We always look forward to our lessons with him and are always aware that he's given us exactly what our bodies and spirits needed at that time.

Fantastic Massage Therapist!. As a psychotherapist with a busy practice, I store a lot of material in my physical body and find that massage is a wonderful tool for maintaining an important equilibrium in my life. I have very specific places in my physical body where I tend to store stress, and Jason has worked in depth with me on various ways that I can care for my body to attend to those places of stress. The consummate professional, Jason provides a wonderfully warm and relaxing environment that inspires deep relaxation. His knowledge about the human body is vast and thus he works very specifically and holistically in his massage. After a

consistent every other week massage appointment for several months, I feel a radical change in my body's ability to weather the storms of every day stress. Jason is a tribute to his profession, and I recommend him every chance I get!
