Best Chef, Food, Staff and Management!!!!!!.
Wonderful people. Very elegant with it's french touch.
Excellent atmosphere with nice music.
I would recommend it for all occasions :0)
Superb in every way!. Gaby is the perfect dining experience in New York City. The menu is full of wonderful French fare, the staff is polished and attentive and the environment is so chic, lovely and relaxing. I will put Gaby in my top five to revisit whenever in New York City.
Wonderful bar, Great for after work or post theatre drinks. This review is on the bar as I have yet to try out the restaurant. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon with some good friends to relax. This is truly a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Very chic, very french. Large drink and bar menu. In general, over-priced, but what upscale bar in NYC isn't? That said, drinks and food portions are quite generous. The service was extremely slow and hard to find, but when the staff does appear, they are kind and professional. Highly recommended for a place to relax, lounge, and let the New York minutes pass by.
Ok French Place. The service was absolutely positively POOR. The restaurant was not crowded yet our waiter was no where to be found. The food was good, desert was yummy. Nice decor. But slow staff. I would prfer to go across the street to Triopmphe at the Iroquois Hotel any day any time. !!!!
A hidden gem. Gaby is one of those restaurants in Midtown that you walk by all the time and simply assume "oh it's just another overpriced hotel restaurant." Not true! It escapes the stereotypes of a French brasserie and serves creative, well-executed fare. The olive tapenade served with the delicious French bread is really delicious. The seared tuna served with a patty of crunchy sticky rice is just lovely. Nice room, pleasant atmosphere and the staff is quite efficient. I'm glad I went and will go back again.
Extraordinary!!. One of the finest meals we have had anywhere was our lucky experience on an anniversary weekend. Having studied the on-line menu, we had set our hopes on dishes that were unfortunatley not on the menu that evening. We were not at all disappointed, as we were presented with perfectly prepared duck confit and encrusted sea bass that simply could not have been better. The escargot raviolis, and lobster bisque were also phenominal, as was the hazelnut dacoise. Service was perfect. We would not return to New York without eating here again.
decent. but pricey, but what hotel restaurant isn't? We wanted a quick late lunch and the service was superb. Food was good, decent, nothing to write home about but they were so kind & the sweet potato fries were lovely. pretty room.
Great After Theatre. This is a great place for after theatre dining. It has the atmosphere of a real Paris brasserie. The food was excellent and the staff was nice.
Excellent. I ordered pan-seared chicken stuffed with spinach and dried tomatoes. The best chicken dish I've ever eaten. The atmosphere is very romantic. The waitstaff was also excellent. Maybe a bit pricy, but well worth it. My best dining experience in the city.
