I was missing my family on Mothers day and I was impressed by the menu and the fact that it is named after a grandmother. Birdie is rolling in her grave. The Fried chicken was awful. The greens tasted like unseasoned grass. The Yams tasted like carrots with some brown sugar sprinkled on them and were inedible. The mac and cheese was okay but Ive had better from a box. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I had to throw it all away. I really wanted to become a regular but I will never go back. I would give zero stars if I could. The nicest thing that I can say is that the girl who took my order was really sweet.

This place is great. The food is fresh and has a very clean taste too it (for those who are concerned about fat, salt etc). Get the baked chicken all white meat (comes boneless). Have some mashed potatoes and some muffins. The food is on the blander side, but that is how I like it....if you want salt, MSG, faux flavor go to KFC or Dallas BBQ. Very good. Although they have very limited dining, it's more of a take-out place. It's also family owned, which is cool. The sides are kinda small, so get a large if you want a bigger serving.
Pros: Great Food
Cons: Side Orders are separate and a bit small for the price
