I bought a Groupon because this place was near my job. I was hoping to like it because I've been looking for a good nail salon. in the area They asked me to fill out a card with personal info for promotions, which I did. They told me I could get 10% any additional service with my groupon so I decided to get a lip wax. The girl could neither get the wax on nor could she get it off. It was a mess and the hair was still there. The pedicure was in a bowl on the floor while I was sitting on a recliner. It was pretty uncomfortable and just not working. The manicure was terrible- streaky uneven polish. Anyway, upon checkout I was charged $25 for the lip wax even though the salon price list said it was $12. The girl explained that it was because she used hot wax, not regular wax. I did not ask for hot wax, I did not consent to hot wax, and quite frankly, the hot wax did not even work. I paid more than double for a bad service! When I approached the counter to leave, there was no one there, I waited to speak to someone about the horrible experience and I wanted to tell them not to put me on an e-mail list from the form I provided. Finally a man came out. When I told him I wanted to have my contact info removed he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and was really rude. Finally, he said that it was only used to verify the groupon which is just not true. I continue to get emails from them after repeatedly telling them to stop. Also, they redeemed the groupon before I even got there which I found a bit shady. This is a horrible place, do not go!!!!!!!!
Awful awful awful. The place is not a real spa. It is a nail salon. The people are rude. Insanely rude. When you walk in they are very attentive, until you tell them you want an inexpensive treatment (like a normal manicure) or that you have a Groupon. Once they saw that I had a Groupon they immediately stopped being helpful and actually told me to leave and come back when I had an appointment. I told them that I had been calling for days trying to make an appointment and only ever got an answering machine which wouldn't let me leave a message. They called me a liar and told me to leave unless I wanted to pay full price which was $35 for a manicure!!!!!!!!! As in file your nails and paint them manicure - 35$!!!!!!!!! There were also 4 technicians sitting and reading magazines so it was not as if they did not have the staff to accomodate me. I immediately left and requested a refund for my Groupon. I have never had a nail salon be so obnoxious. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME THERE!
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE. NEVER GO THERE IN LIFE! DIRTY AND FILTHY WITH RATS RUNNING AROUND! The MANAGER IS VERY UN PROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. NO STARS AT ALL. NEVER HAVE I BEEN SO UNRELAXED AT A SPA SERVICE! This experience has ruined my whole day!
This place is anything BUT perfect! – This place is awful! I just got the worst massage ever! I purchased a Deep tissue Massage at this place through Groupon.
Upon arrival, I thought I was in for a good experience. I checked in. They immediately asked me if I wanted some tea. I said sure. While I sat and waited, they brought me a hot cup of green tea. Lovely!
Then the experience went downhill. First, they put me in a tiled room that was very obviously for some sort of hydrotherapy spa treatment by the shower heads that were above the massage table. It was about 100 degrees in the room. I asked to move rooms. They moved me. The lady who came in to do my massage kept laughing me and slapping me on the back, saying "too hot! too hot!"... ok, we had a giggle. move on!
She proceeded to tell me, in what little English she spoke, how much tension I had in my shoulders. Then, proceeded to avoid my shoulders. She massaged anywhere and everywhere else but not where I most needed it. On top of it, she gave me a Swedish massage when I had booked a Deep Tissue!
Then, when the bad, Swedish massage was finally over, she proceeded to tell me that, since I only paid $50 for the massage, I was supposed to give her at least a $20 tip. The audacity!!! I'm normally a very good tipper, but this lady didn't deserve a $20 tip for a bad massage!
I would NEVER return there and hope people read this review before wasting their money at this "spa"

Worst Consumer Experience Ever – I am not one to right reviews, but this experience was so horrid that I think I owe it to fellow consumers to educate them on this awful establishment.
My first trip here I the service was mediocre, but I was enticed by the alluring deal of getting one free massage per a 74 dollar payment once a month. After reiterating the terms back to the owner to make sure I wasn't being duped, I signed up. The membership clearly states that in a medical emergency, membership can be cancelled. Well, a couple months later I had to have surgery unexpectedly. I furnished proof to management (a copy of my hospital record) and they demanded a call from my surgeon and further documentation. They kept asking for more proof until it became ridiculous. I cancelled the credit card that they were charging only to find out that they had stored my debit card number (without my authorization) and started charging that illegally. This establishment needs to be investigated. I couldn't believe the gall, the lack of human respect or consumer etiquette. Do youself a favor...pass them by. The massage isn't even worth it, my masseuse has scaly hands.

Really a perfect spa get away – Perfect Spa was an excellent choice and I will definitely be visiting often and making Perfect Spa a regular of mine.
I was introduced to this place by stepping into one of their other locations. They have a nail salon also on 72nd st on 2nd avenue and I enjoyed my time there getting my nails done.
I decided to get a deep tissue massage at perfect spa. I was welcomed by the receptionist and the place looked very elegant and like an upper class spa. Definitely one of the more affluent spa's in the area.
I was introduced to my masseuse i believe his name is louis. This was by far the best massage i have ever gotten. I felt my back was free of knots and my whole body just felt rejuvenated.
My shoulders were loose and at the ery end i was able to take a deep breath and say money well spent.
I definitely recommend this place. Hope everyone enjoys there time
Spend your money elsewhere – I unfortunately could not recommend this spa as they need to improve their customer service, the staff is extremely rude. I was kept waiting on the phone for 10 minutes without apology. When I had a problem the receptionist
refused to give her name or put me on to the manger.
They have no concept of customer service, spend your money elsewhere.
Perfectly awesome – I love this place. It's a good getaway from a hectic day and i enjoy the friendly and professional staff that work here. Their services are clean and thorough and the overall comfort..well I seem to find it here more than anywhere else. I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews but I believe its mostly to do with misunderstandings which can happen anywhere else that runs such a tight ship. The massages here...I've heard stories of some women that travel across the globe and spend X amount of money on massage therapy from Sweden and Japan or whatever...but coming here..feels like you're paying less for an incredible experience. Their packages are great to take advantage of. I did a Getaway ever so often..which includes a massage, facial and a manicure and it feels amazing to know i got everything i wanted ..the people here are great at doing their job...and i dont' feel uncomfortable at all. I'm always going to recommend this place!

The absolute worst customer experience ever. I believe 100% of the negative reviews. I saw them before I went and figured it would be fine anyway. WORST experience possible. DO NOT go here. This place deserves to go out of business for the way they treat customers.
