terrible service. blind pig... it should be called loud obnoxious pig! horrible rude bartending, waitresses are cumbersome and slow, horrible experience.

If You like Live Music and Entertaining Show. Grab an after work drink or 4 at Blind Pig and head over to The Griffin to Michael Fredo's Wednesday night party. They have a great show and an open bar from 8-9:30. Free admission too. Michael Fredo with The Benny Reid Ensemble is a great Jazz/ Ratpack show. 50 Gansevoort @ Greenwich

Cool Neighborhood Sports Bar. Don't let the pig blind you. It is full of flowing alcohol, great music, and quite amazing bar food.

Bind Pig is a great neighborhood sports bar that offers sports games, good drinks & food and fun crowd. I remember coming here at 1AM and people are dancing, drinking and chatting up.

My friends and I ordered some of their appetizers and they were great! Waffle fries, sliders and french fries! Hmm thinking about it makes me hungry now!

The DJ here spins some great hip hop and rap music that you can easily dance to.

Awesome place!!!. I don't know what some of the other reviewers are talking about. Maybe they were at another bar! The staff was great, had a fun time. At one point it was crowded and it got very loud in there. I couldn't hear my friends too well but other than that it was awesome!!!

Nice bar, but.... I have never been to a bar with so many rules, yes, rules, that must be followed in order to obtain a drink, food, etc. And the waitresses and managers were some of the most unpleasant people I have ever encountered in the service industry. The sign on the wall says it all, "the bartender is always right"...The last time i checked, the customer is always right...

Great Brunch Special. This bar is located right near my apartment. I have been there for a few drinks at night and also for their Saturday and Sunday brunch special - they offer a great deal with unlimited bloody mary's and mimosas. It is a perfect Saturday afternoon spot!

A bar with speakeasy style and all the modern amenities.. In Short
With its floors, tables, benches and bar all made of wood, this unassuming Union Square watering hole is dressed like an old-school hideaway. But despite those trappings, it still offers modern-day amenities like flatscreen TVs for game-watching and music videos coordinated with whatever's playing through the loudspeakers. A mixed bag of laid-back drinkers passes through in waves, encouraged to return by the fun-loving bartenders.

Hits: It's a nice alternative to the neighborhood's more collegiate bars.

Misses: Wander in on a Friday night when there's no big game, and it may feel a bit depressing, especially when there's no music.

Good Ol' Reliable. Blind Pig is a good old reliable establishment. In the mood for a place to throw a birthday party or pick up some chicks on a saturday night... Blind Pig's your place. Weeknight and you wanna grab a drink and get some grub - Blind Pig is the place to do it - food is great. Wanna get together with your buddies and watch the game - Blind Pig's your place.

Great New York bar that has so much nostalgia, you'd think it was around a lot longer than it actually has been.

Best bar staff in the city.

i READ A COUPLE OF THESE REVIEWS AND JUST HAD TO SAY MY PART. i AM AT THIS BAR ALMOST EVERY WEEK. iT IS A MIXED CROWD OF PEOPLE WHICH IS SOMETIMES A GOOD THING, SOMETIMES A BAD. OBVIOUSLY IF i KEEP GOING BACK, i MUST LIKE IT. tHE FOOD IS GREAT, NOT THE QUALITY TO BE EXPECTED FROM A BAR AT LEAST. tHE STAFF IS ALWAYS WORKING, MEANING....DOING THEIR JOB. WHICH IS A PLUS, I ASK FOR SOMETHING AND i GET IT... PERFECT IN MY WORLD. SOME OF THE CUSTOMERS FEEL THEY CAN DO AS THEY PLEASE THOUGH, i HAVE NEVER WITNESSED THIS BEFORE -PRIME EXAMPLE.... 5 GIRLS THROWING BEER ALL OVER EACH OTHER AND THE TABLES NEXT TO THEM AT 8PM....CANT HANDLE YOUR BOOZE? TRY A POSH LOUNGE WITH A PINK LIGHT SETTING. AS FOR MJ, THE MAIN REASON WHY I GO AND WHY MOST GO BACK, I FEEL. MJ IS ONE OF THE BEST BAR KEEPS IN THE BUSINESS. I USED TO SEE HIM WHEN HE WORKED AT ROCKY SULLIVAN'S (RIP), AND THE WHOLE ROOM WOULD BE CRYING WITH LAUGHTER, HES A BALL BREAKER, IF YOU'RE TOO SENSITIVE I AM SURE AFTER YEARS OF COUNSELING THESE SADDENED FEELINGS WILL ONLY DERIVE FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD WHEN YOUR MOTHER CURSED AT YOU ONCE WHEN YOU LIVED IN BUMBLE **UCK OHIIO. BOTTOM LINE, iTS A STAFF FILLED WITH CHARACTERS, FOOD IS GREAT, AND THE BOOZE IS ALWAYS FLOWING BTW IM SRY TO HEAR PPL COULD ONLY SEE THE OLYMPICS ON TWO TV'S.... ROUGH LIFE WE LEAD. GO THERE HAVE SOME LAUGHS AND HAVE A COUPLE OF DRINKS.... MAYBE YOU'LL SEE ME ON MJ'S SIDE OF THE BAR ON A FRIDAY NIGHT LAUGHIN' MY AS* OFF WITH A FULL DRINK IN FRONT OF ME.
