In Short – The circular layout of the salon keeps the space open and moving. Styling stations radiate outward from a central reception desk, where the ever-ringing phone competes with whirring hairdryers. Behind closed doors in back is a calmer spa experience. Treatments range from the more common four-layer facial to the banho de lua, a Brazilian body treatment of exfoliation and oil massage (no doubt so popular in the country because it prepares the body for sun). Also on offer: waxing, make-up and nail services.

Worth the ride to Astoria

You can get the sharpest haircuts from Telmo, and affordable also (!), if you take the subway for a short ride to Astoria. His head massage and relaxed Brazilian vibes help to unwind, and most importantly his cuts are out of this world. Two of my friends also went and are hooked now as well. I think Telmo is one of the best secrets of NYC.

First time when I made appointmant for haircut at this place,when I came hairstylist left for some fashion show without even calling me to let me know. So I made another appointmant with other guy that could not even cut my hair straight. All I wanted is straight hair cut ,he chopped my hair so horribly that made me cry. I decided to go back and tell him that I m not happy ,they scheduled me for next day. When I came he was bussy, and acted like he doesn't know what I talking about and walk away from me.
I decided to ask for manager.......guess what she had to tell me...."That is the way he s cuting hair if u don't like it....2 bad"
This place is completely unprofessional !!!

Great place for hair coloring

went in for wash and blow, ended up doing it all.
wash, dyed hair,cut and blow dry because the stylist took her time and showed me all my color options and explained how to care for hair afterwards.
She did a great job with a smile.
Will return again!!!!!
