Disappointment. Very disappointed with my first visit. I scheduled a couples massage as a gift. Upon arrival, we were informed that the couples room was mistakenly double-booked and that we'd have to be placed into separate rooms. This defeated the purpose of scheduling a couples massage. No one even called to let us know before we showed up. If I wanted two separate massages, I would have purchased two separate massages. Unacceptable.

reliable and great atmosphere. The place is designed well. It has definite spa appeal and a very quite and comfortable lower level.

This place is my go to spa for massages.

Mind you, they have a very large staff, and not all of the therapists are good. I have had some really great massages and some not really great. But no terrible ones.

Now that I've been here a few times, I know who to ask for by name. I can't give out the names because I fear they will book up too fast!

I like it here because they are very thorough and your business is always appreciated.

The only thing i don't like about this place is that it does seem somewhat rushed. It would be nice to have a steam room or something to unwind before or after a service.

Relaxing time at the spa!!!!. I needed a massage for my left shoulder and a touch up on my nails. The Bahamas package was just what the doctor ordered. I arrived early for my 6PM appointment (it was raining and I figured I could just relax and wait there). The took me early with no problem and off I went to my treatment room. I took a quick shower in the private shower and the bliss started. The poor massage person worked and worked on my shoulder until it was back to normal (no easy task I assure you). After another quick shower, I moved to the nail stations (which are very nice and comfortable). I got the claws all taken care of and at every step the staff was so nice and my comfort and service were always top on their list.

The space is relaxing and very luxurious with soft lighting, high-end supplies and very clean. I will definately return soon as I've now found my oasis in Manhattan. It was the first time I felt comfortable in a spa. I've been to a lot of spas but they were all geared to women but men were always welcome but this is the first spa that was outfitted so you feel like a man in an environment designed for me.

More people need to know about this heaven in Manhattan (unfortunately, it will be harder to get appointments once they do but I'm willing to take that chance).

Best Spa in Chelsea. Great place to relax, very punctual and clean. Service seems to be a priority here, you get a friendly vibe as soon as you walk in.

The Best Massage EVER!!!. Last week I went after work after having one of the most stressing weeks ever. The masseur was very professional and knowledgeable. I had the best massage ever in this place. I DO get the hype with this place. It feels as if you've stepped out of NYC... and Yes, one is able to actually relax in this place.

Quality message experience!. I return to Wellness for the level of attention and service, as well as the value. The staff maintains a high level of professionalism mixed with just the correct amount of familiarity. I have taken advantage of gifting a number of messages to friends.

Strongly recommended for a clean, quality experience.

Best Spa for Men in Chelsea. I have had a lot of spa treatments over the years and most places feel like a noisy factories with the host screaming for the next available worker. The Wellness Mens Spa feels completely different. It's like going on vacation for a few hours. Calm, quiet environment. And as a gay man i felt comletely at home with the adorable and professonal all male staff. No woman around having endless conversations about what nail color she'll pick this week etc. The place is immaculate. I go every two weeks for a package of 60 minute massage, manicure and pedicure for $129! You can't beat the price. All the massage rooms have private showers as well. Guys give this place a try. You'll be hooked!

OK but massage sucked...... I went to this spa recently to have a massage and facial. The place is nice and clean, you can have a drink before your treatment. Nice.....Also facial was nice and very profesional I can not say the same about my massage session. My massage guy did not speak any english and it was very hard to explain what I needed. I will never go back for a massage there and will not recomend this spa to anyone for a massage.

Best kept men's spa secret - for now.... To date, I have received 2 massages and 1 manicure here and am going back for a third massage next week. The staff are very accomodating and effecient and the facilities are clean and peaceful. I have been thoroughly satisfied with the service. My first massage was a little weak but my second one was right on. I have requested the stronger masseur for my third appointment. Also, the manicure I had was one of the best ever. Very relaxing. I also have felt that the staff and owners geniunely care about my experience there and have gone out of their way to make sure I come back. Give this place a try.

Incredible Mens only Spa in NYC. I have been a client of Wellness Mens Day Spa since they opened their doors. This is, without question, the most enjoyable spa experience ever. I am appalled by the obviously phony reviews being posted on Citysearch. I implore anyone who doubts that this is the very best spa anywhere to try it. I have sent over one dozen friends here and not one has had anything but raves for this gem of a Spa. If you are going to be in the NYC area I would HIGHLY recommend going to this spa...even if it's just for a massage.
