Much more costly than expected with disappointing results. Would not recommend for color and highlights. Nice service, but not worth the price.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had a scheduled and confirmed appointment at 11 am for today with Vasiliki. I met her last week for a consultation and she knew I needed a fixed time slot. Instead, when I arrive at her salon she has another client in the chair and is just starting her hair cut! She tells me I can come back later or I could wait at the salon. When I tell her that i only have a certain amount of time available for my cut/color she tells me "look, this is a salon." She did not seemed at all bothered by the fact she double booked during my appointment. Instead she gave me massive attitude. I told her she could have called me to let me know she needed to reschedule but she didn't think that was necessary because "This is a salon!" she said again.

Vasilliki knows I have 2 young children and when I had my consultation with her I explained to her that I only had childcare for a limited amount of hours. Obviously she could have cared less. As a repeat client I would never go back to KK Salon nor would my husband, who was also a repeat client!!

Vasiliki is very unprofessional and discourteous. As well the price is as expensive as going to Ric Pippino's salon and getting a top colorist or hair dresser. What attracted me to KK Salon was the close proximity to my house but factor in the 'wait time' and the unpredictabilty of actually having an appointment there it is not worth the time or stress.

I hope the owner learns about this situation and how Vasiliki conducts herself when she is not looking. They lost 4 clients today as my children were going to start having their hair cut there as well! Never again! Skip KK Salon because they do not value your hard earned money or your time, or honor a confirmed appointment!

FIDI's BEST SECRET !. I normally get my hair done around where I live....UES. But I was staying with a friend to leave together early the next morning for a weekend getaway. She convinced me to get a Keratin treatment while she got her hair cut at KK Salon...she lives around the corner and she swears by the place. It was my first Keratin and my first time at this salon. WOW! I'm sold on both. My hair is soooo shiny and smooth. I don't even have to blow dry it now if I dont want to.....pillow to Starbucks in 20 mins flat lol. I don't know what happened with the other reviewer. They used the Pravanna treatment (100% organic) on me too....I don't think I would have done it otherwise...I'm a little bit of an Eco nut. It worked great. And as far as the salon goes, the color/chemical services area was right off the main salon. It is a clean, really nice looking place. Overall..... service, value, quality was excellent . We had a great weekend. Thanks to Arianna, and Alice. And thank you, thank you, Karena!

DONT BUY OFFER FOR KERATIN BLOWOUT (on trubates etc). THIS IS NOT A $250 VALUE OFFER....its more like a $10 offer for a halfway blowdry and flatiron. I bought the $99 Keratin blowout at K K Salon, the name of the product being used is Pravana Smoothing Treatment. This product seems like a product just bought to used on Trubates customers the regular Keratin treatments they use on other customers are Copolla, Rejuvenol and Brazillian, This product wasn't even displayed in the salon itself like the others. When i arrived the salon looked really nice, unfortunately, i was taken to the back in the outdated part to get my hair done (even though the rest of the salon had a lot of empty spaces) is this how you treat your price sensitive customers, why cant we be treated equally and offered the same service like the rest of paying customers?. My hair is long and the entire process lasted for about one hour. When the product was applied and blow-dried my hair wasn't even soft, it didn't even shine. It looked worst than when i first walked in the salon. However, i thought that when it was straightened it would be fine. The flat iron supposed to be heated before starting to straighten my hair, immediately after the stylist (young) blow dried my hair, she plugged in the flat iron and started to straighten my hair. My hair was flat ironed very quickly and it looked horrible when it was finished..it was very dry and frizzy and this product suppose to take out frizz..I have straightened my hair a couple of times before and it looked much better when i did it myself without this product, i felt very ripped off, the whole experience was very unsatisfactory. When I came home I was even greeted with the insult of being asked if i got my hair wet from my sister.This deal is a rip off! Also, be prepared to pay an included gratuity at the end of the process.. tips and the amount you feel is necessary for the service is not optional anymore, luckily i didn't have to pay this. The follow up--> i washed my hair today..no change..very frizzy which proves that it was a rip off.

My sister got her hair done today from another offer for the same price, her hair is thinner and shorter than mine,, and i was told that they spent two hours on her hair and used enough of the product, her hair looks great! ..I'm sorry that other salon was booked...I thought this salon would have delivered good result i guess not,,,i am very angry and disappointed. (they are very very cheap with this offer...they don't even have the correct shampoo and conditioner for the product being used)

Best Salon I've Ever Been To!. I have lived in NYC for 5 years now and have yet to find a salon that I love. I constantly go back to my hometown to get my hair cut and highlighted, because I either dislike the services I get at NYC salons, or the price is outrageous. That is until I discovered KK Salon...

I have never experienced such a fabulous highlight, haircut or blowout as I have at KK Salon. I have gotten the services all together, or seperate, and each time I was 100% satisfied.

Alise is a true artist when it comes to highlights. My blonde highlights are gorgeous, look completely natural and my hair is the healthiest it has been in awhile.

The haircuts are amazing, and the blowouts can last for days. The L'OREAL products they use are the best I have seen at a salon.

The prices aren't "cheap," as some other places promote, but I have learned my lessen the hard way going to "cheap places." You get what you pay for!

That being said, the prices are VERY REASONABLE, and a lot less expensive than many other comparable salons. I have spent hundreds of dollars at high-end places such as Frédéric Fekkai and John Barrett, and have been completely unsatisfied.

The owners and staff at KK Salon are all very friendly and especially helpful, making this the perfect place to get your hair done.

I would recommend this to anyone looking to get high-end results at a very reasonable price. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, great job KK Salon!

Great highlights and beautiful styling. Nadine knows how to make you look younger! She has a real talent in knowing what is best for your face.

I got great highlights and the cut makes me look 10 years younger.

She knows what is best for you, listen to her and you won't be sorry.

O o h La La. Finaly I found salon with great stylists who knows how to cut hair! Most of them came from Europe with sharp technic and entensive training. I have fine,blonde hair and I am very picky about the cut.

Not recommended. After reading the reviews I was very dissapointed with the service. I got a mediocre haircut and really cheap looking highlights. I do not recommed this Salon. The price was also much higher than expected and definitely much higher that work deserved.

Great haircut!!. Just had a haircut from Ilona - she is amazing. took her time, very knowledgeable with men's haircuts, and recommended the perfect cut. the price is very reasonable, and they were able to get me in right away. will definitely be back - highly recommend.

BEST HAIRCUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. what a fantastic haircut!!!! I have short hair and I went to this place, happens to be by my job,the girl who cut my hair very nice,professional,very happy w my hair loved BEST HAIRCUT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
