Rude, Obnoxious, Provincial...Yeah, that covers it

My wife and I wandered into this place to escape a snowstorm. Unfortunately the bartender thought it was more important to let his two obnoxious friends take up four stools in the front.

When we politely protested the bartender said "you have to go now."

I'm sure if we were two underage blondes instead of a married couple in our 30s we would have been welcomed with open arms (and, most likely, sleazy pickup lines).

Avoid.

Bad brunch experience...every time

First, I will say that this place is decent if you want to watch the game and have a few beers. However, don't bother ordering food! Brunch is specifically awful. Every time I've had brunch here, it takes 45+ minutes for the food to come out. And, they've gotten my order wrong every single time. I don't even order complicated things! The food is far from fantastic. I'm done coming here for anything edible.

Whatever you do, DON'T go for brunch.

Usually the food is good here. Granted I'd only ever eaten here for dinner. I went to brunch recently here and have to say it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. The OJ was some sort of sugary watery fake drink and they even put ice cubes in it - it was repulsive. I ordered the french toast, which was "encrusted" with something. I swear they took it from a freezer back, threw it in a deep fryer and then served it. It didn't even taste, or look like bread. I couldn't eat much of it even though I was starving.

Pros: none that I can think of
Cons: food, drink and service were all pretty bad

upper east side gem!!!

The perfect bar for any sports.I have gone there by myself and with a group of friends and i dont remember of anytime that i have had a bad time(its hard to leave once there).havent tried much of their food but what i have had i have enjoyed,,,,,friendly staff,clean and certainly somewhere i will be enjoying my drinking habits again :)
