AMAZING!!!. First time experience today - it exceeded my expecations. Philomena has such talent, spunk and calming gesture about her. Experience was not scary or painful - she made me understand my body in a whole new light. She really has a talent to her asking me questions about lifestyle food choices that refelcted what she saw being extracted from my body...recommended things to avoind & vitamins - im going in two weeks cant wait to have another session. This is def. putting me on the right track for a better lifestyle !!!

Truly Healing. I've suffered from IBS for years. In my first visit with Philomena she said to me, "I'm going to have you feeling like a brand new person." And she was completely right. We worked several sessions together and I can honestly say that I cannot remember the day that I have felt such a change in my digestive track. Philomena is incredibly knowledgable and made suggestions to improve my diet and digestion, which to this day I believe are responsible for my IBS improving. Furthermore, she suggested herbs that have made a world of a difference. Additionally, I felt so at ease and so welcome. I wouldn't go anywhere else (and I have before!). Thank you so, so much!

Reassuring & relaxing. So whenever I go for a colonic - or any treatment where people handle my body parts - there's this little voice that whispers "what if...". But Philomena immediately put me at ease with her matter-of-fact manner, charming British accent, and focus on the task at hand. She was adept and gentle, maintaining just enough distracting small talk during the procedure. All in all, her ministrations, combined with Pure's relaxing atmosphere and mesmerizing wall posters, made for a soothing cleanse that felt truly beneficial.

Feeling safe...and great. I must single out Diane for her knowlege, attentiveness and responsiveness to me as a person, not just a customer. It is a comfort to know she is a registered nurse, so having that traditional or western medical training about the body and its functions makes me feel so very safe in having her administer colonics.

I cannot say enough about her capabilities and would recommend Diane to anyone interested in colonics...from their first time or in any maintenance program...she is just terrific!

Professional with Great Results. I just can't get over how much better I feel. After just a few months and some slight changes in diet -blood pressure is down, cholesterol is down, sugar is down, weight is down and, my energy is up.

It takes a certain mind set, no doubt, and Philomena made the experience very professional. She explained the process, what I would feel -how to respond- and, she explained was seeing and made recomendations on dietary changes that would be beneficial.

I'd like to add that her simple and effective recommendations also came after general chatting and understanding my busy schedule -she didn't suggest I go "martha stewart", just simple changes that I could try and stick with.

Philomena is knowledgeable (I tell her she should publish a cookbook), very professional, witty and a great listener.

I feel great, my clothes from 10 years ago fit again and, I'm healthier to boot!

I would recommend Philomena to anyone considering starting treatment, and to anyone in need of a new therapist -she's that good and the results speak for themselves.

AMAZING!. I can't lie, getting a colonic is a totally awkward scenario, HOWEVER every time after said awkward scenario I feel like I could jump over a car. I've been going on and off for years and have followed Philomena to 3 different spas. I couldn't possibly considering going to anyone else. She is thoroughly knowledgeable, gentle and HILARIOUS. A true healer.

Philomena is the Best Colon therapist. I had very bad gas and bloating that was making my life miserable, no less totally un-sexy. After having a colonic with Philomena my digestion has greatly improved and my un-comfortability has gone away!

She is very caring and accompanies you through the whole process, gently massaging your abdomen and consoling you. She will get an occasional deep intuition about you and your energy and is gifted in making you feel known and welcome.

The whole process is an hour, just a blink in the scheme of your life, but it will help you to push the restart button!

Two weeks later and feeling even better!. It's been a little over a week since my visit with Philomena. After having my first ever colon hydrotherapy session, I wanted to give it a couple days to see how my body was responding. I'm honestly still feeling rejuvenated and much healthier (and my stomach is still nice and flat!).

Before the session, I felt tired, sluggish, and bloated despite my normal workout routine and healthy diet. During the session, Philomena thoroughly explained the whole process, what she was seeing, and her thoughts on my diet. She was incredibly professional while still being witty and personable. Philomena helped me become aware of how my body breaks down sugars and fats and suggested that I take a short break from dairy products to see if the bloating went away.

I took Philomena's advice and I can definitely feel the difference! I feel so much better and now know how to monitor the foods I eat to help my body continue feeling great.

My Pure Colonics experience was wonderful and I definitely recommend it to everyone!

An English Gem in Hell's Kitchen. Princess Diana had weekly ones. The very rich have them regularly and on average live 15 years longer than the rest of us. So what do they know about colon hydrotherapy that we don't?

So where do you go?

At Pure Colonics, the time flies while you're getting your colon cleansed because the conversation is so interesting. Very intelligent, funny, and personal, don't let that fool you, Philomena is at the same time a very serious professional.

The colon cleansing itself is: done by hand, not by machine; personal; and includes the very mandatory massaging of the stomach area (which is supposed to be the acid test for colon hydrotherapy).

Pure Colonics is the only place in New York that I would go to. Not just a therapist but also a friend, I actually felt sad when I finished my 5th session with Philomena. Would highly recommend, unreservedly.

Note: Pure Colonics is located on W. 57th Street. Driving from Queens, and after paying for parking on 10th Avenue a few times, we learned that there was easy and affordable 1 hr meter parking readily available literally right in front of the place or across the street. We made ten trips, and are about to make five more, and we never needed the garage again.

Best of the Best!!!. I have been getting colonics for many years now and never have I had such a fantastic experience. Philomena is amazing. Her knowledge mixed with a great sense of humor and listening skills are unmatchable. I've lost weight, feel fabulous and even my skin and hair feel amazing!
