Excellent service and product.
I've used Matt for shirts, suits, a tuxedo, and an overcoat - all of the items turned out great. Matt's products are of good quality, provide for virtually limitless customization, and present a high level of value. On top of that, Matt is very knowledgeable about current trends and adept at interpreting your own style, along with being very pleasant to work with (by far the best experience I've had with any other tailor, shirt maker, etc.).
Main reasons that I use Imparali:
1. Customer service level is as good as it gets.
2. Product is of high quality and in-house tailoring allows for any alteration to be made in a timely manner
3. Pricing is very good relative to other shops. I also like that everything is generally included vs. other shops that charge for working button holes, stitching, etc.
4. Very high level of customization available even though product is made-to-measure and not bespoke. There hasn't been a single request I've made that hasn't been possible.
5. Turn around time is faster than any other similar type service that I've used. I've received all of my items in a 4 week time frame.
6. Selection of materials is quite diverse. I have used J Hilburn and another place in the city for shirts and Imparali has many more choices.

the worst. The worst customer service. 3!!! tries to get pants correct. And each time, not the right length and each time, pants were stuffed into a bag. The worst customer service. The longest alteration time. And the worst results. Stay away....

In regards to the customers review, we did have to alter the pants 3 times, But in our defense we asked him to try on the pants so we can individually fit him, he suggested to just follow a sample pants, and we did (fabrics hang differently so it's not an accurate way to alter things with just a sample) But before he left the we personally showed him a few of the pants showing that they were the same measurements as the sample. After wards we did put them in a shopping bag for him to take home. If there were any other issues we guarantee our work and we would have gladly fixed them

Best Tailor and Best experience in NYC. Matt of Imparali seems to really enjoy what he does and it shows in how he treats his customers and the quality of work preformed. I just had a little hem alteration on new suit and was treated very kindly. The experience was so good I've decided to get all my suits and blazers tailored here and will probably buy a few M2M shirts as well not only for the quality but for experiencing the lost art of true customer service. Great experience.

Modern Business with a touch of style..
If Matt at Imparli Custom Tailors ever decides to change the name of his company, he should consider Impressive Custom Tailors. I enjoy wearing MTM shirts and suits, but I also like having a contact person with a face, phone number and local establishment here in the USA. I had the pleasure of working with Imparli Custom Tailors for a custom MTM shirt. I like my shirts to be edgy enough for the weekend, yet still look great at the office. This provides versatility in my wardrobe and tends to turn heads of my co-workers and clients.
I asked Matt to send me samples of fabrics that would fit this description. The decision was tuff because the selection was so great. As you can see by the photos, I selected a white multi-stripe pattern. The stripes consist of black, light blue, purple and silver. They range from pinstripe to a stripe almost as wide as a Bengal stripe. This shirt is limitless in the range of neckwear I am able to wear on a give day. I have worn this shirt with a range of suits and as you can see, it looks great with a pair of jeans. Nice mother of pearl buttons, a collar that is stiff enough to stand up on its own, with being uncomfortable after ten hours with a tie. With some shirtmakers a double button cuff is simply a single button cuff with an extra button. Not the case with Imparli Custom Tailors, the cuff is slightly elongated to hold the extra button, a sign of custom work and attention to detail.
Imparli Custom Tailors also has an impressive website. Suggestions on dressing tips and wardrobe construction can easily be found for those entering the world of custom MTM garments.
If you are in New York City or sitting behind a computer screen in Omaha, I would advise trusting Imparli Custom Tailors with your next MTM order.

Custom Shirts. I have been going to these guys for a few years for all my custom shirts. The price is reasonable, service and quality is top notch. I would recommend anyone here who is looking for a slim fitting shirt to come to Imparali

Great Work. Got my first custom suit. I will admit, I came here not knowing too much about how the process works. But these guys made it easy and fun. I went in thinking the worst, but came out a happy customer. They took the time to suggest me what would be great with my body and pick a fabric that will not only be versatile for parties, but also for client meetings. I highly recommend these guys. Great Work!

Not recommended. I brought in an expensive dress for a simple hem. The seamstress talked me into letting her take apart the dress and pull it up from the waist which cost $50. When I got it back, the hem at the waist was crooked and the pockets sticking out, as if she'd never used a sewing machine before. She spoke very little english and was unable to even understand what I was asking for. I do NOT recommend taking anything to this place.

We had explained to the customer that it will have to be taken in from the waist as it is a bubble hem and it will ruin the bottom of the dress. This was not a just a simple hem job for a dress. We had told her it's a complicated job, and it will be a little more them just a basic hem. This customer wanted the dress within a two day turnaround time. After the customer came in for the fitting. The dress was even hanging but when wearing it was a little off centered on the side due the the customer's hips being uneven. We told the customer, "it's a very simple fix and we'll do it right away" She said she had no time, and started to become very angry. After a few minutes I told her that if she does have time to come back we will fix it right away. And then gave her an additional 30% off the total bill. So this customer did not pay $50 for the alterations. I don't think this is a fair assessment about our business.

Great Service. I have been coming to Imparali for a few years now. And they have never been short of excellent in their customer service and their workmen ship. I send all my alterations and make my shirts from there. And I have always been happy.

Alterations. I brought it some suits to be fitted, and these guys did a great job. I work on 45 Rock. So it's easy for me to come by and get things tailored. Good work, and Great Service
