NYC's best hookah. Period.. Me and my girlfriend came here last night. (I've been in the past, once) She loved it, the reason why I'm writing a review about it now, is because "Mike aka The situation" from JERSEY SHORE was there with his personal entourage! I said hey to him and took a couple pictures. I'm definately going back next weekend, this place is amazing!!

Great Hookah. I went there last Saturday night with my girlfriends to smoke some Hookah.. We had a great time with the friendly staff, ate some awsome pizza. We actually got to smoke out of a real Pineapple, it was amazing.. It was my friends B-day and the staff gave of some free deserts and sung happy birthday to my friend. they really made us feel special.. CANT WAIT TO GO BACK

Best Hookah in NYC. I dont know what happened to the last guy, i went there with my boyfriend and we had a blast. the service was much better than other local hookah bars, i had a great Pita bread pizza and my hookah was the best i had in the city and they only charged me $13.00 and nothing extra for more coals. i heard that they have bellydancers on the weekend, that sounds very cool. i cant wait to go there again

Terrible Service and they sneak in charges. I actually never give reviews, but I thought I would help out other guys out there

1) Not a date place, if you saw the look on my girlfriend's face when she saw the place, not so pleasant but we agreed to give them a try

2) Charge $15 for the Hookah and never tell you that they charge an additional $6 for coal until the bill comes, pretty sneaky

3) The service is terrible, the waitress saw me looking at her so i can order for a long time and she was just talking to a friend of hers on the corner not caring about the customer.

4) Their tea and turkish coffee is so small, not worth the price at all

Best hookah spot in nyc. I made an acount just to tell everyone how awsome this place is...the service is good and its cheap for the city. The atmosphere is great as well as the music ( they play reggae, hip hop, some weird pop music but it was still pretty good). They refill your coal once every 15-30 mins. The only negative was when the waiter thought we left her no tip (the tip was on the table) and she started giving us this speech. We later showed her the tip was on the table and everything was okay. Still highly recommend this place.

Great Service, Great Hookah and Great Atmosphere. I went here on New Year's eve and they made the start of 2009 memorable. I had a group of friends and we brought a coupon from their myspace page. At first the guy misread it, so he gave us another hookah on the house! The inside is really cool, low light, dark wooden furniture and comfortable chairs and sofas. Intimate, accommodating atmosphere. They allowed BYOB, but charged us five dollars a glass to drink it, which kind of sucked. It was still worth it to enjoy our champagne in the company of friends. The hookahs at Khufu were wonderful different blends, and the service was fantastic. One of the guys came over and blew smoke bubbles for each of us, which was a lot of fun. He came to talk to us and invited us back. It was a great experience. They also came and replaced the coals for each of our three hookahs before they got harsh and the prices were very reasonable. I really want to go back there again soon. I tried going back on Sunday night, jan. 4th but they were closed. Really big sad face. Oh, and the food was really good. My friend had a toasted peanut butter, marshmallow fluff and banana sandwich, which he said was amazing. I had a chicken pita which was also really really good.

There's another hookah place around there which doesn't even rate in comparison. My first time there was okay, but the second sucked a bit. At this "other" hookah place, we got a 30 dollars hookah that was only "ok" and they never even replaced the coal or looked at us once since we sat down. When I asked if they did BYOB they tried to get us to buy a 13.99 bottle of champagne for 50$. I get it, that's New York, it happens, but even tho Khufu charges for the BYOB, at least they let you drink your stuff. And this other place has a habit of rushing people out as fast as possible if they think another party will be spending more money, which I understand is common, but Khufu was welcoming, fun, reasonably priced and inviting. Why go anywhere else?

AWESOME SPOT!. I STRONGLY encourage all who enjoy hookah... GO HERE!!! The owner is super friendly and cool. The prices are extremely resonable, especially for the city. (about $15 for however many people) It was a chill atmosphere, great music, and most importantly... GREAT HOOKAH! I suggest Jasmine flavor with some falafel and hummus as snacks on the side! Enjoy! P.S. Ask the owner about the smoke bubbles.... it's a MUST SEE!

best hookah bar in nyc. The service at this hookah bar is the best I've ever experienced. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming, not to mention attentive. When they found out it was our first time at the bar, they made sure to show us an especially good time. The hookah itself was exceptional, and the tea and hummus were also delicious. It is a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. It's pleasing to the eyes, ears, mouth, and nose! They even let us put on belly dancing attire and turned on special music for us so that we could try to learn belly dancing. It was an experience that we would like to re-live over and over. We're about to go back right now!

AWESOME HOOKAH!!!!!. I was on my way acrross town on a saturday night to meet some freinds when i smelled an amazing aroma of glorious hookah smoke . I followed the smell and then i heard arabic drums, i stopped and was surprised to discover one of the coolest places to chill in NYC.

I was lucky that night , there happen to be a lovly belly dancer twirling round amisdt the smoke and banging beats. I was greeted by one of the owners , He was warm and very acomidating.

Most importnt the hookah is amazing and lasted a while. Usually when i go to these places the hookah gets harsh pretty quickly , and u can tell they use bad quality sheesha. This hookah was awsome.

This place is perfect for dates and parties, and i heard they have cool Dj's sitting in during the week.

I was told to become a myspace freind and i would get a free hookah and thats page is pretty cool to, cool reagea tunes pumping.
