S*xy Cocktail Lounge. I went to Rm 55 over the weekend with some girlfriends. I have been to the Dream Hotel already and partied at Ava on the rooftop so i knew that this was destined to be a good night. Rm55 is a really s*xy lounge and a pretty hot place to be on sat night. There was a very good looking and upscale crowd, pretty even between girls and guys. Cocktails were terrific...strong and made well (unlike so many upscale places) Def will be back. Def a place for an upscale and s*xy night.

This neo-gothic lounge gives Dream Hotel guests a reason to skip the minibar.. In Short
Playing off the Dream Hotel's fanciful vibe, Rm.Fifty5 draws in out-of-towners and midtowners with its seductive mix of throne-like chairs, settees garbed in Louis XIV-style fabrics, chandeliers dripping with Venetian glass, and a wall-length illustration of a black-and-white birch forest. The elegant, yet hip surroundings are a welcome break from midtown's generic chains and trying-too-hard lounges. A lightbox image of the moon over the ocean is mesmerizing, so focus is needed to pick a drink from the 12-item specialty cocktail list.
