“Was not as expected.: The food was ok some vegetables were not fresh, service was slow.”
A lot of food.
The menu has pictures of the dish, always a plus.
Tried the bulgogi lunch box. My friend had the noodle in hot stew, which is served with rice. I forget what it's called.
Man there was a lot of food! Nine banchans (starters) were brought to us after we ordered. My set lunch box came with soup. The place wasn't crowded so we didn't feel rushed during lunch today. I would definitely come back here and recommend this place. Maybe try the BBQ next time.
Bad food. Was not as expected.: The food was ok some vegetables were not fresh, service was slow. They rushed out with your sides and almost throw them on the table.Waitress didn't take time to explain the ordering system. So you are on your own to figure out the menu. We had the beef, spicy pork and chicken, all sub par in my group's opinio ? Meats was fatty and not fresh. Potatoes in salad were hard. Have to be demanding with the waitresses to get their attention.
Great BBQ. I had my bday dinner here. We had reservations and were seated quickly. The only problem was that i had to keep hounding the waitress to get our orders and then to get our check. So that was wack. But once we finally got our food we never stopped eating. The food was very flavorful and filling.
Outstanding Korean BBQ Kuisine. The rather Spartan, cavernous interior of Madangsui is home to one of the best Korean bbq restaurants this side of Seoul. And the service couldn't be nicer. Particularly good are the pork dishes and the raw entrees, cut from incredibly fat and sinew-free cuts of late steers. If you enjoy beef tartare... this is the place for you. The side dishes that are served with the meat or chicken entree are more than ample and make it unnecessary to order appetizers, unless you are truly famished. The kimchi strikes the right level of acidity and heat and every other small plate is a taste sensation. A high spot for Korean kuisine!
Authentic and Delicious. This is where I take my friends from Korea. The galbi is excellent. Last night we had 3 beef and 1 chicken, all grilled to perfection with delicious sauces and onions. Every dish is delectable. I didn't want to, but I absolutely stuffed myself of meat and dumplings (Mandoo). The prices are good ($15-$30, $6 import beers) because you get so much food, it is well worth it. I recommend coming with a group so that you can try as many things as possible.
Editorial Review. Koreatown restaurant serves up a distinct style of Korean barbecue in a sleek, bright setting.
Great Food. Stopped by last Friday after work (around 5 PM) and totally enjoyed a great Korean BBQ dinner. Excellent service, I was served many styles of kim chi, salad, and different condiments free of charge with my food. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I did not eat all the stuff, but one with string bean and sesame seeds was my favorite. The waitress noticed that i had finished it and though i had many others in front of me, she brought an extra serving of what i liked evern without me asking for it. Great place. Highly recoomended.
Try something different, Korean BBQ.
Madangsui was Fantastic. The food and service was so good. The people were all friendly. .
With a friend, I had the Korean BBQ (Saeng Gal Bi ; Fresh butterflied all natural short Rib), which was Excellent. They started you out with about 10 different side dishes of appetizers, which included with your meal. But try something different (Bibimbap, Spicy Tofu soup, Naeg-myun..etc ) !!!! You will be so glad you chose, as the food is really wonderful. I couldn't find one thing to complain about Madangsui.
