wonderful photographer -- highly recommended!!!!

Libby photographed our wedding last month and we couldn't be happier with the experience and results.

From the very beginning Libby was attentive and responded so quickly to my emails, answering all of my questions. After meeting her in person I was so confident that she was the perfect match for us, I completely stopped worrying about the photography (which was one of the most important aspects of the wedding for me)

On our wedding day she did such a fabulous job... it seemed like she was everywhere at once yet she was so stealthy that you hardly ever knew you were having your picture taken. Everyone was so relaxed around her. The result is photographs that are candid and really, truly capture your wedding day. She has such a distinct style that really make your pictures so personal and unique. She's extremely talented and an absolute professional, she was such a joy to work with!

Exactly what we wanted.

We had a non-traditional wedding, and Libby was exactly the right fit for us. We got married at Brooklyn city hall and Libby was both our photographer and witness. After getting lots of great shots, (quietly and respectfully) in the court house, we moved on to other locations around the city (about 10 in fact), and Libby was right there capturing tons of great shots for us. We are so pleased with her work and all the pictures she took of us. Our personal photo section was up on her website days after our wedding, and we got to see all the pictures and share them with friends and family. We were hoping for ?one good picture? at each location and in fact we got much more than that and great shots in between locations too. I highly recommend Libby McLinn. Great photographer, great to work with!

Libby shot our wedding in December and did a great job. She was fun to work with and has a style that put everyone at ease and allowed her to get great pictures of everyone in attendance. She met with us before the event to get an idea of what we wanted, arrived at the event early to take pictures of preparations, etc., and her attitude made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our day; it really came through in the final results. She was able to effectively use the surroundings to capture great images of us on our best day, both indoors and out.

Afterwards, she was great about getting us the color-corrected digital images quickly, and was quick to respond to a problem with the proof prints (I had asked for matte & border, but the printer sent glossy by mistake).

Libby is a class act and will do a great job documenting your event! Please ask her for a referral if you'd like to discuss.

Absolute pleasure to work with

Libby shot our wedding last August. We had a very small, private wedding at a beautiful inn in Litchfield, CT. We wanted professional photographs of our special day but not all of the traditional packaging. It was hard to find photographers that were willing to work with the scale of our event. Libby was a true pleasure. She was willing to work within our budget and came all the way to Litchfield in the rain on a Friday in the summer (not an easy feat)! She shot beautiful images and captured exactly what we were looking for.

She kept in contact with us after the wedding to make sure we knew when our photographs were ready. She was extremely professional and very friendly. I'd recommend her with confidence to anyone.

Really great to work with, great photographer

Libby is a great photographer, and awesome to work with! She shot my Engagement Party in October 2007. Before the event we talked about exactly what I was looking for, and the day of the event she stayed in great communication with me. My fiancee's family is super picky, and wanted to hire their 'regular' photographer, but were really happy with Libby's work and in fact - they asked for tons of copies of some the pictures to send to family overseas. Libby took great shots, some posed, most just of people having a great time. All the while she never got in the way of our guests- we almost didn't even know she was there. Her presentation of the finished work was also highly professional and way above anything we ever would have expected.
