Welcome Back, Stonewall Inn!!!. The legendary Stonewall Inn is back, spiffed up, warmly welcoming. Wood paneling is gorgeous, booths wide and comfy, and the bar is long and there's plenty of room when it's crowded. Whether it's a casual beer mid-afternoon with locals or late in the evening, with adorable men ranging the age gamut, Stonewall Inn is alive and well.

The aging gay icon gets new life as a bar hopping with nighty specials.. In Short
This space is quite a legend in the history of gay liberation. At its peak in 1969, bar patrons stood up against invading police in a boundary-breaking three-day protest. Today, after decades of on-and-off vacancies, renovations and re-openings, the storied location sees action as a neighborhood haunt for the graying gays who saw it all happen. The dark wood front room holds a long bar and a pool table, while a lounge in back is hung with conversation-piece photographs and newspaper clippings.
