I recently went for highlights & restyle with Ray(senior colorist/stylist). He examined the state of my dry damaged hair -- he told me it was time for a change. Thankfully, I listened. Ray(a London-trained genius) did a combination of highlights, lowlights and conditioning color on my hair and turned it from a head of straw to sleek, healthy hair. I absolutely love the results! He also restyle updated my hair, giving me side-swept bangs & face framing long layers that are incredibly easy to style & sexy.I got many compliments on my natural looking color & feb haircut. I have been many "top expensive salons" in NYC, but Ray's time, attention to detail, great personality & reasonable price really won me over. I highly recommand Ray.

Ask for Carrie. I recently had my hair cut by Carrie at le Mino salon and I am so happy with the masterpiece she created. She was funny and really down to earth and listened to everything I said. I can't wait to return to see what she has up her sleeve for my hair next!!!

Brenda's the best!!!. I had my hair highlited few weeks ago at Le Mino Salon. I wanted to change my style without it being too obvious. I explained what I wanted to the Colorist Brenda and she immidiately understood my request. She carefully listened to me and patiently showed me my options regarding the color I wanted. I came out of my appointment with beautifull highlights and i am still a brunette! It is exactly what I wanted and I am very pleased with Brenda's work. She refreshed my look and I feel younger and I get a lot of compliments. I definetely recommend Brenda. I will most definetely come back!

Loren's great!. I recently had my hair done at le mino salon. I have lived in NYC for three years and have tried quite a few places. I admit that I am picky but I think that i finally found a place that I'm happy with. Loren colored my hair and Mino styled it. I felt amazing when I came out and I actually had a lot of fun in the process. We had great conversations, everyone was very friendly and best of all my hair is beautiful. I will be back!

Love Danielle!. Danielle is an AMAZING colorist! I've been going to her for years...I followed her to Le Mino from Ted Gibson. For the past 4 years I've been a blonde and she did such a great job I had like the holy grail of blondes and I just went red the other day and it's amazing too! Women have been stopping me in the streets asking a me who did my color!?!

I always leave the salon looking fabulous...not only are her coloring skills top notch but if you're lucky enough to have her do your blow out after...she does the best ones EVER!

Le Mino is simple, clean, and unpretentious and the staff is professional and courteous.

High Quality Service with Nice People. I have been going to Meno for my haircut for 9 years, starting back when he was at Aerea. He is always conscious that I like it on the longer side of medium layered, and never cuts too much off. I am older at 57, and yet, Meno's haircut makes me look hip yet age-appropriate, with nothing too radical even though it is chic. I highly recommend him. Daniel has started doing my color and she does beautiful work. I travel into the city from Queens to have my hair done there. It is worth the extra time and effort to go there, to have a fool-proof hairdo that reflects the way I want to look.

I have occasionally told myself that the city is too far, etc., and have lapsed into salons in Queens. The result of that is, I always end up running back to Mino to fix it back the way I like it. I think that that in itself says a great deal about the quality of his work.

Great Color, Great Allyn!. Great salon! Allyn has been coloring my hair for 5 years and I followed her to Le Mino about 3 years ago. She does a stellar job and always knows exactly what I want. I often walk out feeling like a million bucks. The place is clean, professional, friendly and beautiful. My favs are the candy and trashy magazines.

Danielle is an amazing colorist!. I have to say that Danielle is an amazing colorist. She continues to amaze me every time I get my hair done. She always knows what will look good on me and isn't afraid to make a recomendation. I always leave her chair feeling like a supermodel. My hair is my life line; if it looks good then I feel amazing. Thank Danielle!

I would also like to add that the atmosphere at Lemino is great. The staff gets a long well and really makes you feel welcome.

Mino is amazing. Mino has been cutting my hair for 6 or 7 years now and I am so happy he has his own salon - he has just such an amazing way about him, the way he CARES for your hair. I trust him implicitly and know you will be treated extraordinarily at his salon.

Bastiano!!. I found this salon on Citysearch based on reviews. I'm glad I did! Bastiano from le mino was fabulous! He gave a terrific haircut. He took his time and was so particular. The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by the friendly receptionist. I highly recommend this salon for a great cut and friendly, polite and professional service.
