Do not use Go Airlink Shuttle.
Horrible horrible service. I paid online with credit card, and arrived at the point in front of Grand Central twenty minutes before my scheduled pick up (at night, in January, in freezing temperatures). I called the company and was assured that a driver would come on time. I waited until twenty minutes after my scheduled pick up, but they NEVER SHOWED UP. Since then I have asked for a full refund and my request has been ignored.
DO NOT USE THIS SHUTTLE. Luckily, the NYC Airport shuttle shared pick up points. Their drivers were friendly, let me use their cell phone to call Go Airlink, let me stay in their shuttle to wait and warm up, and finally, let me ride for FREE to the airport once Airlink never showed up. They are real professionals and good people.
TERRIBLE THUGS. Terrible company. Do not use them. They actually harassed me and my new born baby after we paid them 176.00! One of their managers threatened my husband with physical abuse if we did not give them more money. Now after several emails to Mr. Booker--no reply! This company should be shut down for violation of passenger's rights. Where is Bloomberg on this?? He needs to get involved and shut these shady businesses down.

I pre-paid for two-way pickup and drop-off, JFK to Manhattan for FOUR people. When we were picked up I had to pre-pay DOUBLE - EACH WAY because I we had two bags each and we had to buy a second seat for each person. When the driver arrived 45-MINUTES LATE to pick us up on Manhattan, he couldn't fit us all in. He said: 'You're on your own' and drove off! I had to pay an additional $160 for a last minute SUV service to JFK, and the company REFUSED TO REFUND THE $110 I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR THE RETURN TO JFK.
This was a HORRIBLE experience, and would ABSOLUTELY NEVER use their service again, and would say that you would be INSANE to use them!
I can't give any stars and, like the reviews before me, I wish there was a negative star option. I had to give at least 1 star in order for this review to be published. I have taken this service in the past and have had mixed experiences. I just recently used their shared van service and I was literally scared for my life. It took me 3 hours to get from LaGuardia to Manhattan. The driver was rude, angry and aggressive to everyone in the van. We were all scared and confused. He refused to help anyone with their bags and even went so far as to direct one woman to "carry the heavy bag" while he took the bag on wheels. When it became apparent that I would be the last one dropped off, one of the other passengers suggested that I call my family and stay on the phone until I got home. I did just that and was grateful for the advice. I was truly afraid of the driver's anger and aggressiveness. While I'm sure that nothing would have actually happened, I cannot believe that I actually paid for a service like this.
I contacted Airlink via their customer service and, to their credit, I received prompt emails apologizing for my experience and I received a refund check for the $30.48 by the next week.
DO NOT use their car service.
I wish there was a negative star option. I've never been in a more disgusting town car with such a disgusting driver.
I expected the type of service I always get- nice man (or woman) at the Newark baggage claim with a sign with my name on it.
What I got was directions to call when I landed. When I called I was told that they expected my flight two hours later. Their solution? I could take the shuttle in 5 minutes and since my mother and I were the only two in the shuttle it would be just like a town car.
I explained it WASN"T what I paid for. They then said that I could take a town car, the driver would be there in 15 minutes.
40 minutes later after watching many cabs take off I was greeted by the grossest driver with the grossest town car.
I asked if I could have my money back and just take a cab and was told that I"d have to talk to a manager and none was available.
The driver said the Towncar business was new. My advise? Avoid.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Avoid Airlink like the plague. We used this service on August 20th 2009 to get from our hotel on the upper east side to JFK Airport. It took almost 1 and a half hours to reach the airport and this was for a pickup time of 4:00 a.m. The driver was on time - then told us the air conditioning was not working. He had two other pickups at mid town hotels. What we were not told is that his first stop was LA GUADIA AIRPORT??? AND THEN WE WERE DROPPED OFF AT JFK. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND NOT WORTH THE COST.
Great service and on time. Great service and on time from my hotel to JFK. Rates are very good too. I've used both the car service and the shared rides. No complaints here!
