Excellent food, romantic environment. Very surprised about the other reviews...this place has a great feel and the food was excellent. It's definitely pricey, but you get what you pay for, and the romantic environment and great vibe in this place is enough to make me travel all the way to jackson heights. I really enjoyed it, staff was great, drinks were delicious, and the duck was succulent and tender. Loved it overall

Sneaky (read as fraudulent) pricing. Fair food, nicely seaoned BUT...

a: Entree menu states (served with rice)

b: Fried rice dishes

The ISSUE?? A note on the menu that reads "Rice dishes $..50 extra".

Now, how can you sell fried rice and then have the gall to charge fifty cents extra because it's a rice dish?? What's worse is before ordering I queried the waiter and was told that prices had gone up so they needed to charge extra for the rice.

Why then wasn't the menu re-printed or at the very least the 'served with rice' notation should have been blacked out via a marker or even with White-Out?

No, not a pleasant place for me or for my wife.

OH!! Also beware that this place also has a 10% surcharge for parties of 3-5 (THREE?!?!?!) people, a higher surcharge for parties of 6-8 and an even HIGHER surcharge for parties of more than 8 persons. Really, this is a place that's all out to gouge you for your money.

Eat somewhere else that's all I can recommend!

Charges "service charge" without you knowing. I have been to this place with it first opened, and it was good. Now the service is really bad, food is probably the worst its ever been.

I had the lolly pop chicken and it was over cooked. Most of their spices are so bland that it tasteless. Their butter Naan is ok, but the chicken manchurian was plain disgusting.

The restaurant is very dirty, always sticky tables. We had our utensils changed twice because there were still looking as if they were used. Mine actually had oil on the knife.

Also watch out for sneaky tip that they add to the bill. There is a service charge of 3 or more people which you dont know about till after you look at the bill. I made a mistake in double tipping.

nanking.. only name is big.. rest everything is ordianry. i have been to nanking at jackson heights several times but everytime i eat it has a different taste

no consistencey in food.. earlier i used to enjoy mughlai food not anymore now

food quality & texture has gone down considerably.. please bring it to its original taste as it was when innagurated.... tasteless odour.. avoid
