Best Barber and Spa in NYC! Hands down.. I have Brooks himself, cut my hair. When, I first moved in this neighborhood...I tried everyone. But, I just did not get the satisfaction of a great haircut, whenever I was finished. Until, I tried Brooks Barbershop on Merrick Blvd. No Lie, he was the first barber since I was a kid in the 1970s...using a straight razor, belt and all. The whole staff is very friendly an a blast to hang out and pass time while waiting to be taken care of. Flat-screen TVs and a video arcade for the kiddies. So, mothers can be pampered in peace. Our happiness, is what seems to matter most to them. 5 stars.
