Ella can be described with only two words - miracle worker.

I have a stack of "pre-Ella" clothes and a stack of "post-Ella" clothes. Every time I wear the pre-Ella clothes, I can't help shaking my head at how terrible my clothes used to be. Every time I wear the post-Ella clothes, I have to literally drag myself away from in front of my mirror. I know it sounds utterly narcissistic, but I just cannot help myself staring into the mirror and saying "wow". Never before have I received so many compliments about my clothes or on "losing weight" (even though I didn't lose much, the new clothes make it look like I did).

I really needed casual clothes for going out -- yet, I had had an aversion to shopping (like many guys) and knew it was time to try something different. Ella was great! After we talked for the first consultation, she understood my tastes. Then we had an excellent shopping trip in NYC-- it was easy, efficient, and fun -- a great experience. I end up with things that I really like and will wear alot. I recommend Ella very highly -- she is easy to work with, very knowledgeable, and makes shopping fun!

Ella knows her stuff. She taught me which clothes looked best on me and took in to consideration my style. More importantly, she showed me new styles I would not have picked for myself that looked great! She found twice as many things as I thought I would be able to afford and actually came in at 50% of the budget we had set. I walked away with 12 new items for $250, which included a new blazer for work, sweaters for winter and clothes for hitting the town at night. Did I mention we got it all done in two hours? I liked how Ella had everything picked out ahead of time and all I had to do was try on the clothes. It was perfect for my busy schedule (& I hate shopping. No really, I do). I can't wait to do it again next season!

Move Aside, What Not To Wear! A kinder gentler way.. A few years ago, I got tired of watching What Not to Wear and decided I wanted my own wardrobe consultant. An Internet search netted me Ella Goldin at Chic Inspiration Personal Shopper & Image Consultant. She came to my home, looked through my closet, and thankfully, instead of the tough love you see on those TV shows where the contestant ends up crying and cursing the host, she gently said things like, "I think you could do better," when she saw something that did not look good. We sat down, and she asked me a lot of questions to determine the types of style and clothing I was looking for, including some that I knew nothing about, like if there was a particular designer I liked. Our next step was for me to meet her in the city and have a day shopping together. . Shopping with Ella was a dream. She knew what my budget was, and she knew the worth of the clothing, so I did not have to look at a price tag once (which is usually my sticking point). I could trust that we were going to get enough good quality things within my budget with her in the forefront doing all of the pre-screening. Then, it was left to both of our judgments together. I relied heavily on her opinion, and since I was ready to try something new, I was happy to have her taking the reins. And do you know what lets me know that spending that extra money on my shopping trips was worth it? 95% of the time, the compliments I get on clothing are the ones I picked out with Ella The clothes I purchased with her have also outlasted most of the others I have bought since. I have been out with her twice, and you can be sure that I am saving for another trip.

ella is a great image consultant. I seriously cannot say enough about the amazing experience of having Ella's help with shopping for clothes. This kind of shopping has always been such a dreaded and unpleasant experience for me. So many things I hate about shopping were neutralized by the benefits of her expertise and hard work. Between Ella and her contacts at the store, I was transformed into a power shopper in ways I couldn't even have imagined! And I learned so much. On top of everything, Ella was truly a pleasure to be with. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Awesome Image Consultant and Service. My girlfriend gave me a gift certificate for Christmas last year for a Day of Style. I had put on some weight after a surgery and none of my clothes fit and so she thought it would be nice to hire someone to redefine my style. I had some very basic ideas on what I liked and how I wanted to look and chic inspiration did an amazing job building them into a manly and sophisticated reality. I continually get compliments from friends and colleagues -both men and women -and have noticed that both acquaintances and strangers take me much more seriously since working with this styling team. Thanks guys -your services have enriched my life in many ways.

great experience. had a great experience using chic inspiration (worked with ella golden and sarah rex) for my fall & winter shopping this year. picked up stuff i would never even try and am getting non-stop compliments on my new look. love it! will definitely use again for spring. thanks guys!

Great stylists, image consultating in NYC. I've used Ella & Sarah several times now and they always deliver. Very professional, super talented and easy to get along with.

They helped me shop for a new fall and winter wardrobe and I am very happy with the choice. Literally everything mixes and matches and I am getting compliments everyday :)

Someone even stopped me on the street yesterday to ask where I got my boots.

Great experience. I wanted to write this because I had reservations about paying someone to take me shopping and actually called this company about a year ago initially and then thought I can do it on my own with the help of a free personal shopper from a department store. So I made an appt with a shopper at Saks and discovered that it is not the same the hard way. I spent over 4K on separates that I had absolutely no clue what to do with.

Then I got back in touch with Chic Inspiration and they were nothing short of amazing! The stylist went through my closet, cleaned out what didn't belong then meet me at Bergdorf (at my request!) and for under $3000 I had a full, cohesive, put-together work wardrobe. I am amazed by how everything mixes and matches so beautifully.

Well, I am back at work now and loving my new wardrobe. It has given my self confidence a definite boost. I have never received so many compliments in my life! Client for life

Ella you are BRILLIANT!. I just completed my seasonally fashionable package with Chic Inspiration and wore the first two outfits to Daniel for dinner and then to a work function and I am not kidding when I say that people swooned when they saw me. Non-stop compliments the last two days -- someone even asked if the glow was because I am recently engaged?!?

And the best part is -- I feel totally myself in each piece. Not sure how you captured my personality so well in fabric, but thank you!
