Acupuncture and IBS. I decided to seek help after suffering from IBS, as well as gluten intolerance, for three long years. After a stint overseas, I had developed a strong stomach sensitivity that led me to become gluten free as well as lactose free. It was at times tolerable and at other times paralyzing. I became able to eat out (as well as try new foods as long as they were gluten free). I no longer dealt with the chronic constipation. Today I am able to eat some dairy and my stomach is completely healed of the gluten allergy!! Deborah was kind, considerate and always attentive to my stomach abnormalities. IBS is a treatable condition but not from the western give it a prescription approach. Deborah truly understands how the body functions and how things like hormones, bacteria and stress all affect the body.
