Never Again. The bartender looked like she really did not appreciate her job. She was rude. I tried to ask her how''s she doing but she was short and rude. She showed NO skill as a professional bartender. She was munching the whole time I sat on the bar. The only beer she had was Coors Light and Amstel Light. I opened the bathroom door and some girl was inside.....apparently door lock did not work. The place was deserted on a Saturday night. I guess I should have tried Mon or Tue night..... I simply found this place wastage of time. Can never recommend it to anyone.

Cute place, nice selection. We went to Bar Majestic for the first time this past weekend and will definitely be going back. Although the menu wasn't huge, what we did order was delicious and arrived artfully displayed on the plate. We had some sort of crispy shrimp that came with jasmine rice, and also a quesadilla with mushrooms. We liked the ambience, very low key and the candlelight was nice. We also enjoyed the drinks, while my husband had a nice red wine that our server helped him select, I had a fantastic mojito.

Never again!. Aside from their new decor, this place just plain stinks. Are they under new management or something? Went for drinks a couple weeks ago, sat at the bar, and when my girlfriends and I asked for the check, the greedy bartender told us a larger amount than the check...must have wanted to make sure we would tip. Granted, we may have looked a little scrubby after going to yoga (upstairs), but that is just plain wrong.

Keep your overpriced drinks. I'd rather drink toilet water.

Liked the vibe. I have been to this place twice. Once on date and the other in a group. Onethe date I ordered some type of seafood pasta and it was not good at all but my date ordered pork tenderloin and it was delicious. The second time fwhen I went with friends it was a blast. The belly dancers and a twist to your nite. I liked the vibe and would go back, it is a bit pricey but a nice change for jersey city.
