Great Salon. I popped into this salon last week for a quick highlight. They were able to accommodate my schedule and squeeze me in a few hours later. I was there for about 1.5 hours for a full head highlight and it turned out really well. I was a little nervous because I knew nothing about this salon. I literally walked by it that morning on my daily dog walk. I actually even think this is the best highlight I have had in the city so far and the price was really affordable as well. The color is very dimensional and natural looking. The color is also very well done around my face, which can sometimes be a bit spotty. I love YUI SALON and will definitely come back for highlights again in about 3 months. Thank you YUI!

West Village's Perfect Hair Salon. Everyone at Yui is absolutely amazing. They are thoughtful, considerate and have an amazing eye for cutting hair. The ambience of the salon is only matched by the stylists' talent. When I get a cut, I know it will look good that day and thereafter--nothing too difficult to maintain. They really listen to what you want and execute perfectly. The head and back massage is a huge bonus and I can't wait to go back to get some of their hair treatments.

Finally found a salon I will return to!. I've always had trouble finding a salon that I would return to. In the past I've never gone back to a hair stylist but I intend to go back to Yui for my next trim/cut. Nao is a superb hair stylist. She really listens to what you want and what you need. She's also super-friendly and beautiful! This was an entirely positive experience for me. I've never been more happy with the results. In the past hair stylists have cut too much and cannot seem to achieve the right look for my hair. Nao was very clear in understanding what I needed and I knew what to expect and she did just that. So THANK YOU, Nao! I will be back!

Excellent Hair Salon!!!. I had an excellent experience at Yui! I was recommended there by a friend and was completely satisfied with the service. Everyone that works there is super friendly and knowledgable. The japanese style shampoo and shoulder massage was so relaxing. And the ambiance of the adorable salon is perfect. It fits in nicely in the West Village. The haircuts are moderately priced, and you get a shoulder massage and extra long shampoo included. I love my haircute and the way my hair was styled after it was cut. I will definitely return to this salon! Highly recommended!!!!

awesome hair cut!!. Megumi was fantastic cutting my hair .It was so relaxing as well .She was very attenive and asked for feedback throughout the cut which was really nice.plus she gave me a good massage .I love the cozy ambience of the place .-I will go back ,no doubt ( Highly recommended!)
