Great Place!. I followed Lennie to Rizza Salon because he's the best stylist in New York City! I would follow him anywhere. I'm glad he's with this salon because everyone there is very nice and helpful. It's a comfortable place and I would recommend that anyone get a cut, color or treatment there.

Best Blonde & Cut in NYC. I moved to the West Village 6 months ago and was still getting my haircut at Bumble & Bumble. This week I desperately needed a cut and color and decided to try Rizza on a whim since B&B had no appointments available.

I LOVED it! The staff is super fun and the atmosphere is nice. And they offer water, tea and wine while you're there, complimentary.

Now I have been a B&B girl for cut, Fringe (LES) for color for 4 years, but let me tell you Rizza is my new spot! Angelo cut (from long to shoulder length) and colored my hair (blonde full foil) and did an incredible job. The cut - and I usually hate the way my cuts look at first - looked so good I made plans to get drinks after my appointment. I will keep going back until I leave NYC!

WORST HAIRCUT - DO NOT GO!. I hate to write something negative but I had a terrible haircut at Rizza and don't want others to make my mistake. I was hesitant to come to the salon and I sincerely regret my decision. I have long hair that I was clear that I did not want cut much...fine Angelo took off a few inches. However, it is not cut straight. The hair on one side is longer in the front and the back looks so horrible it is a disaster. Now I have to go to another salon to have this fixed. This place is a bit more reasonably priced than others in the area but don't take the chance! TERRIBLE!!

Fab!!. I've been seeing Angelo at Rizza for the past six months and I couldn't be a happier blonde. I've finally found the blonde I've always been looking for-As Angelo puts it "a Swedish blonde not a Texas blonde." The salon itself is simple and elgegant and has a fresh and laid back vibe. They really make you feel at home (wine, great coffee, anything you need!) I've been salon hopping in NYC for the past five years, highlighting for the past ten and have finally found my perfect color, favorite salon, and most reasonable prices! I can also book my appoitments online-super convenient! Thanks Rizza!

Love it!. I adore this salon! The place itself is so aesthetically pleasing. It's so cute with the perfect amount of space. There's a little patio area in front. Everything is arranged so nicely- you instantly feel more chic when walking in. Once inside you are welcomed with great music, a friendly staff and your choice of a glass of wine or coffee. Then there's the service, I go to Tomas Soriano who is absolutely wonderful!!! I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair after seeing him! He straightens my hair perfectly and is a pro at a creating a classy but hip cut! The cut is so expertly done that when my hair grows out it just looks better and better! He is also a pro with color! Finally- top off the experience with the fact that its an ideal location- 1/2 a block from the 14 and 8th station- so for all you L train hipsters- this is a short ride away! It's always an excellent experience coming here- you're going to leave looking noticeably good!!!

All I'm Saying is JIMMY B.'s Amazing.... If you're here, you need Jimmy Burgos in your life. The first time I saw him he was styling another client and I was so taken by his skill, I asked to see him my next visit instead of the stylist I was booked with. Good thing. I consider Jimmy an artist-- and what is great is he's down to earth and fun. I followed him from another salon to Rizza... I think I'd hike mountains to get to this man and his pair of scissors.

My hair is not easy largely because its on the coarser side of the spectrum (because I'm on the blacker side of the spectrum), and I'm just so impressed every time I get my hair cut, colored, blown out, whatever by this man. And I've seen him beautify all types of hair while tailoring looks specifically for each client. AND the Rizza Salon crew is cool, so why are you still reading this-- you should book an appointment now.

New Stylist. Followed Chris Scena here from Suite 303. He is a super friendly guy and an amazing stylist. I am very particular about my hair and have checked out every top salon in the city. This is the only guy I'll go to from now on.

See Tomas at Rizza Salon!!. I have followed Tomas for about maybe 2 ½ years already. I was referred from my girlfriend and told me he was great. I’ve religiously been going to him ever since. After 15 years of disappointing stylists who never gave me a style I could maintain at home, I discovered someone who could.

Not only does Tomas constantly confide in me through every step of the haircutting process, he makes suggestions that I immediately take a liking to. Before I know it, he sculpts a haircut that not only enhances my natural facial features; he transforms my often lifeless Asian hair into a full-bodied sensation. To top it all off, he guides me step-by-step on how to style my hair and also gives me different variations on styles.

Tomas gives me a styling experience that should be a standard for all hair salons.

I’m ALWAYS loving my haircut after he does it. His rapport building opened me up to new possibilities with my hair.

Love Jim and the staff. Jim is amazing at cutting hair. I have been going to him over a year and never had a bad haircut! The staff is very nice and friendly. Even going on a Saturday you never feel rushed to get out.
