Ikea fatigue; it can happen to anybody. Luckily, stylish 20-somethings have another option in CB2. Think of it as Crate and Barrel's younger, hipper cousin, featuring modern designs at very reasonable prices. Square-shaped glossy green plates, kitschy Buddha heads, low-slung daybeds--these are the ingredients for the grown-up but still with-it look young urban dwellers crave. Not that this sleek and spacious Soho store is only for the young; older but still price-conscious shoppers can choose from classic looking items like solid Mindi wood dinner tables and handblown wine glasses.
Hits: The store's blend of hip, modern design and affordable prices makes it a must-stop for anyone looking to update their apartment's look without spending a lot of cash.
Misses: The merchandise might be too edgy for some and not edgy enough for others, but overall it strikes a good balance.
