In Short – Just west of the hotel's main entrance, look for two steel doors protected by velvet ropes and manned by a bouncer. Inside, black leather couches, an illuminated horseshoe-shaped bar and a stripper pole channel the same hedonistic tackiness that once defined a generation. Don't expect to find the neighborhood's indie rock and hipster crowd here; instead, scantily-clad patrons (many of whom don't appear to be native New Yorkers), get down to the thudding sounds of techno and house music. – – Hits: It might not compare to some of the city's top-tier hot spots, but…
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- To increase your chances of getting in, arrive before midnight and call the hotel's front desk to make a table reservation in advance.
- The Extras:
- Make your way over to the DJ booth, and you just might lock eyes with one of the many celebrity guest DJs known to perform here.
- Look Good:
- Dress up, not down--this spot is more Euro-chic than biker chick.

Horrible!!! Run and hide.
by CathyBarb
The doorman is rude even getting in right away. The drinks are the most expensive in the LES and taste horrible. The music if from the techno 90's crowd and just a bad time. Too many cool place in the LES to go here.
- Pros: Nothing
- Cons: Watered down drinks and a bad smell.

Went with a girlfriend last Thursday and there was no line, no cover. Drinks were on the pricy side but strong. Music was mostly trance with very little variation but it's fine if you're buzzed and in the mood to dance. Agree with the other reviewers in that this is NOT the usual LES crowd so if you're looking for a laid-back vibe this is not the place for you. But if you want a bit of glamor (ala Meatpacking, etc.) then this is the place for you. Enjoy!
- Pros: Good Looking Crowd, No Cover, No Line, Dancing
- Cons: Pricy Drinks, Monotonous Music

The hotel lounge is pretty cool, but his place is rude and boring. The doorman is rude and will make you wait so it looks like there is a line only to get into an empty place that is playing music so loud you can't talk to your friend. I got a headache before I could even get the chance to exit. The drinks are over priced and week. There are too many other cool place in the LES. Don't waste your time here.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Ear popping, week drinks and a bad attitude.
ridiculously obnoxioous.

obnoxious french henri apparently decides who gets in or not based off of nothing. ladies and gents, do not waste your time. what is becoming of this world where one has to belittle themselves to enter a place? one does not need exclusivity to have fun.
horrible
by drfunyc
my experience was horrible the bouncer and the door man of this apparent strict club in manhattan only let in their friends who are freeloading worthless people. only after i explained who i was and what i was to the industry did they try to let me in but after 30 mins in line with no one else in the line watching 14 men without accompanyment pass for the very reason i was not allowed. I had none of their appologies or their come right in. This place lacks standards beyond the norm and lacks proper management or oversight of the door. I hope the gentlemen working monday july 30th are held accountalbe for their worthless efforts at the door
- Pros: none
- Cons: fictional service
