This restaurant was excellent. It is located in a nice part of town and their latin american food is very good. Loved it!

Save money and eat here!. They've got sandwiches, great skirt steak, plantains, and good drinks! This spot is really cheap for a huge plate of food that usually comes with beans and rice. Not to mention everything on the menu is great. I love finding cheap spots like this!

Cubanos all day!. I never knew I loved Cuban food until I stumbled into Casa Havana. Its perfect when you hit happy hour, sometime around 5 or 6. The already cheap prices are even cheaper which makes this place tops in my book!

In Love!. This spot is great! Laid back, ultra inexpensive, AMAZING food! I go with one of my girlfriends after work sometimes and we never leave disappointed! My favorite dish is the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce!! So good, but I highly recommend a breath mint afterwords as it's packed with delicious garlic. When we go for a drink we usually get the sweet plantains as a side and share, such a treat! Totally worth checking out, especially if you're on a budget!

ultra bad service. ok so i went there the first time and me and my friend ordered empanadas he ordered beef i ordered chicken the waitress was rude and then the guy says to her in spanish that there was no more chicken she didnt ask me and just gave me beef like i wouldnt notice, but we order our other food and it was really good. but i gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back there at a later time cause maybe it is just the waitress, yea right!!! i got there the second time with more friends and the waiter just looked at us like we were bothering him and then told us sit whereever. then got atitude from him all night but to the spanish speaking friend he was nice........... not sure if i need to learn spanish for better service.........??? well tooo much work and also that time the empanadas where served cold and the pork chops were freezer burned so... not going back to this place ever again.!!!!!

great cheap eats. Spent the day at the renewed highline and found my way to casa havana. super cheap prices with huge portions, I was completely full and it didn't hurt my wallet. A side of plantains is a must, but make sure you go with friends you can share with so you don't get too stuffed!

super paella. I walked by Casa Havana and saw the sign Paella $10.95 I could not believe it because every restaurant I have visited for paella goes for over $22.00 per person.I tried it and it was as good as some of the top restaurants that serve paella. As I looked around at least a third of the customers were eating paella.oh I forgot that with a glass of wine its $14.95 Great find in Chelsea.
