Beer pong, stiff drinks and flat screens enliven this straightforward college party bar.. In Short
A standard tap selection belies the "Ale House" handle, but decently priced and surprisingly well-poured drinks (around $7 for a name-brand mixer) soften the blow. Six mid-sized flat screens tune in a sports bar vibe, but the big draw is the beer pong table that dominates the wide-open back nine. Up front, it's shoulder-to-shoulder on a busy weekend night, when a good cross-section of recent college grads reign supreme. During the week locals prevail--after all, everyone likes beer pong, right?

Hits: Service is fast, fair and tasty, and even though there's no DJ, the playlist keeps to the better half of classic rock.

Misses: Crowd demographics are guy-heavy, with minimal dancing, and the un-pledged might feel outnumbered on thicker nights.
