Horrific!!!!!!. Never, have I encountered a more rude, unprofessional and disrespectful place of business. Mamie curses like a truck driver and over charges for mediocre services. She and her staff did not know how to use their own credit card machine to process payments. They processed my card 4 times and charged me twice the amount owed. My bank held the funds and showed the payments as pre authorized transactions, so to her it appeared as though it hadn't gone through. Well it had! In order for her to get her the right amount and refund me the overcharged amount, she was instructed to send a fax to my bank releasing the extra charges and then her money would be released from the hold. I called trying to explain this but she would not for 1 second let me finish 1 sentence to explain how this problem that SHE caused could be rectified. She was so impertinent and defensive and disrespectful and ignorant and belligerent - I was truly amazed. WOW! Now she has to wait 10 business days to get paid, as opposed to within minutes of following simple instructions. HA! I guess impudence and insolence don't go well with business. I give Mamie 2 thumbs WAAAAAY DOWN!!!!!!

Amazing First Time. This was my first facial experience and I must say it was well worth the wait. I felt like I was visiting a friend and was able to relax. There was no need to be quiet and stuffy at this place. The ambience was amazing and as an added bonus I got to meet the woman herself which was very refreshing. The aesthescian(facial expert) Claudine was amazing and informative. I plan on sending my mom there for Mother's Dau and I can wait to give her a wonderful experience. To the reviewer that said negative comments it must have been an off day for you. I witnessed Mamie herself assist someone who came an hour later than her scheduled appointment and she was able to still provide service to the client. So customer service is definitely Mamie's thing.

Totally Unprofessional, Go Elsewhere. Completely rude and unprofessional desk staff. I hear the proprietor is great, but she needs to clean house when it comes to her administrative team. They are completely rude and ruined the facial I purchased for my sister's wedding. A hack operation; go elsewhere that is professional from top to bottom. This is New York City, there are many, many other options.

Crying Tears Of Joy. I've never met Mamie....my only contact with her was over the phone less than 48 hours ago. I called her with tears in my voice and left her a message on her answering service. I had tried a product that will remain nameless and the results were disastrous. She returned my call and after listening to my tale of terrors proceeded to give me the best skin care advice over the phone. Within 24 hours my skin was at a state that allowed me to leave the house for the first time in a week without a hat, sunglasses, and a hooded sweatshirt. Trust me it was that bad! I cannot wait to meet Mamie on Thursday for my first facial ever :) Thank you so very much for being my "fairy phone mother"!!!! See you when I land ........

Mamie is the Best!. A visit to Mamie's is a rare treat that everyone should experience; you think you’re going for an amazing facial but soon realize that's just the beginning. The warm and inviting staff welcomes you to a warm and inviting environment. The facial treatments and massages are incredible, personalized and soooo…. relaxing. After a facial I often get a steady stream of compliments about my skin.

I’m a second generation client of Mamie’s; my daughter went to Mamie when she wasn’t satisfied with the recommended treatment from a dermatologist. Mamie has helped to restore the health and ultimate beauty of her complexion and now helps to keep it glowing.

My daughter and I wouldn’t trust our face care to anyone but Mamie and her staff and feel very fortunate to have found this oasis in the middle of NYC.

"The Best" Satisfaction Guaranteed!. Words could never express the satisfaction and gratitude I have for Mamie (the best skin care expert ever!). Prior to me visiting Mamie 8yrs ago, I had been to many and I mean many spas that could not treat my skin appropriately. Upon reading an article in the Essence magazine and hearing about how she gives facials to Jada Pinkett-Smith, Iman and many other celebrities; I said to myself "let me see if she can help me" and you know.....I haven't looked any place else since. It has been 8 yrs and my skin looks fabulous!

What I love about Mamie is she genuinely cares about your skin. She can look at your skin and instantly tell you whats going on with it. Its just not a payment with Mamie...she genuinely knows and cares about your skin. She knows what products work and don't work. Recently, with only one treatment, this new product she used called "non-surgical face lift" - this mask is "TERRIFIC". I could instantly see the improvement in my skin; no redness, no swelling, no puffiness. My skin was visibly clear and smooth and I have had no breakouts since using this mask. The "non surgical face lift" mask is Magic! I love it and now its a mask I use at each of my visits. I highly recommend it to all when you visit Mamie's.

Where happiness is best served silently. When you walk in, you are greeted with most welcome smiles. You proceed into a room where all the magic happens and If you are a workaholic [like myself] this is where you should go to relax and have all your worries alleviated. Afterwards there are delightful assorted foods to enjoy right outside your room. There should be a Mamie's on every block, but there's only one Mamie That is something that needs to be taken advantage of!

It pains me to tell you all how GREAT Mamie is.... ...as I may not be able to get an appointment now. But as a self professed fashion and beauty junkie who loves being on the inside track of those hidden gems, I have tried every luxe product and celeb facialist and I can honestly say that discovering Mamie has been nothing short of fantastic. She works magic on my skin, gives great advice, never gives "the hard sell" for products and has a surprisingly reasonable price point. Mamie truly has your back and only wants you to look and feel your best. A great location and pleasant, professional staff doesn't hurt either. The Fountain of Youth!. I have been "out of town" too long, and was welcomed back with the most amazing face revitalization! - I am ten years younger today than yesterday, and since I am having a series of "non surgical face lifts" I imagine my skin will look "tweenish" by the time Mamie is done with me. Fabulous!

Never need to go anywhere else. I have been going to Mamie for over 12 years and it is my business to know who the best is and Its Mamie. Before going to Mamie I never thought I would hear the words "You have such beautiful skin" uttered to me. Now from hairstylists, to make-up artists, from beauty consultants in department stores to even my own dermatologist...the compliments on my skin are endless. Mamie is the only one I trust to touch my skin and as loong as Maimie is doing what she loves nobody ever will. And the new non surgical facelift that she is doing works mircles!! She is and 11 in my book
