Just stopped in and saw the new collection. Love the Calcium for sunglasses, and the Hydrogen for eyeglasses. This shop is truly unique, not for the masses.....

I have bought a few pair of glasses, and two pair of vintage sunglasses from this soho boutique. If you're sick of seeing the same crappy eyewear at every shop you enter, then go to Silver Lining and expect to find INTERESTING, quality frames, and knowledgable staff. Very highly recommended.

The staff at Silver Lining Opticians took great care of my wife and I in June. They were attentive and were great consultants, using their experience to recommend the ideal frames and lenses specifically for our needs. It was obvious that they had our best interests in mind and did not try to up-sell, as can happen other places. The selection was unique, and the experience was relaxed and fun. We left with three phenomenal pairs of glasses that we will sport for years. To top it off, they were genuinely appreciative of our business. Who doesn't love getting new pair of shades from a classic SoHo shop? I highly recommend Silver Lining!"

A New York Treasure. This store is amazing. They carry brands I've never heard of (which i love) and provide honest opinions. The lesnes I got were like x-ray vision. I will be recommending Silver Lining to my four eyed friends for sure.

My favorite glasses!. I've been on the hunt for new frames for months. I came across Silver Lining from a coworker and fell in love with the store. The selection is really beyond any neighborhood shop. I found frames that I hadn't seen anywhere else. I got my prescription filled here too. Now I'm getting compliments and telling all my friends.

Glasses that I actually get compliments on!.
I had been wearing the same pair of glasses for about 5 years and never wear them out of the house.
After a couple visits to Silver Lining I was convinced that a new pair was in order and ended up buying a great plastic pair that is much more flattering on my face than the tiny metal frames I had before.
All my friends love my new frames and I actually feel like they are a great accessory.

Changing the face of New York one pair at a time!. This store has the best selection of plastic frames hands down. Their focus on independent brands rather than fashion brands at every single other shop makes them truly unique. The guys, Erik and Jordan know their vision and they stick to it. I have bought two pair of prescription glasses here, and one pair of vintage sunglasses. I love the new shop even more than the first! Congrats to Silver Lining.
