Found my hair removal place!

i first came to the thread salon using the groupon's coupon. The place is intimate and sweet, the service is quick - and pain free and i don't have enough words to thank Bindu who beautifully shaped my eyebrows and was sweet and funny.

I live in chelsea and came downtown to redeem my coupon but i will definitely go back there again.

Good eyebrow threading

This was my first time to try eyebrow threading. It's good. Quick and clean! So far eyebrow threading is the only thing I tried in this store. Can't comment about other services.

Ouch!

OK. I know any kind of hair removal will not be pain free, but YOWSA! I never had my upper lip done before and I know this is supposed to be a very sensitive area, but I almost cried when she was done. I have been to more expensive threading salons (Shobha in Soho for example) and I now see that the extra skincare and gentleness the other places offer is worth the price. I was also pretty red when I left - even after they put a bit of lotion on. Very nice staff and very clean place but I need a little more preparation prior to the rip off (no pun intended).

For Perfect Brows this is the Spot!

This is the spot to go to for perfect Brows! I am very particular when it comes to my eyebrows, but after a coworker of mine recommended the place I decided to check it out. Best recommendation ever! I was serviced by N.C. (she will be the ONLY one to touch my brows)and she did my brows exactly as I prefer them... perfect arch, not too thin, and not cut off on the ends (long). They also e-mail you updates on specials and coupons, so I think I might try the Brazilian at some point (review to follow).

Also, the customer Service is excellent! Sadia is so polite and courteous, and really makes you feel welcome ( I was so skecptical about trying this place out at first) and at ease. The space is also modern, clean, and inviting.

Great Threading Salon

Stopped by tonight after work, Arti helped me and she made my eyebrows look wonderful. It was the first time I had my eyebrows threaded and I don't think I will ever wax again. It was very easy and painless. I'll definitely be returning.
