The Best Gelato in the City

Hands down the absolute best gelato in NYC! Totally authentic, creamy and delicious. Great selection of seasonal delicious flavors. Have only been to the West Village location on Seventh Avenue - be prepared, sometimes there is a line out the door! But their service is always quick and its definitely worth the wait.

Great Find

Such an incredible little place. The gelato is silky and creamy without being too rich. I highly recommend the chocolate chip with dark chocolate shavings. You'll feel like you're in Italy!

Back in Italy with the finest gelato

I was vacationing in Italy this summer averaging about two gelatos a day! On my return I found that L'arte del Gelato had opened up right on Barrow and 7th..and it was perfect! The gelato is authentic and incredible. The biscotti (cookie) and stratiacella (chocolate chip) are my favorite, but every time I go there are new flavors to try and they are all rich and creamy. They also offer sorbets that taste just like the fresh fruit they use to make them. It's a really nice spot to stop in and hang out for a delicious snack. The employees are really friendly and happy to recommend flavors to try. In the summer they are open late too. I just took a walk in the cold to go over and have a gelato and had to write this review because it was delicious as always.

Best Gelato in the city!

I tried this gelato for the first time last week! So good!!! I felt like I was in Italy. I traveled to Italy a few years ago and had the best gelato ever..I live in new york and been looking for something similar. I finally found it!! The flavors are so unique and so tasty..It is fresh and delicious!!! i 100% recommend it!
