La Zarza Restaurant. La Zarza Restaurant is a total WOW Experience. From the moment we walked in the door, we were promptly greeted and sat immediately. Out waitress was charming and made useful suggestions on the wine menu and food menu. The Tapas were amazing and reasonably priced. We came on a night where La Zarza was offering 1/2 off bottles of wine. What a great idea. i recommend La Zarza restaurant to everyone. 2 thumbs WAY UP!!
very cool atmosphere. went by this weekend to check this place out for my girlfriend's bday. They organized everything. We didn't have to worry about anything. They gave us a comfortable section and we didn't have to do bottle service. They several waitresses all night long serving the tables. Very cool. I'll be back soon.
Awesome. The food in this place is awesome. You must try the Datiles(stuffed dates wrapped in bacon), Tuna ceviche, the corn on the cob!, the risotto with meatballs and the parrillada(assortment of meat). For dessert the panqueques and churros. I can't believe we ate so much, lol. Everything was good. Service is attentive and the live music was an excellent touch. Coming back soon!
WORST RESTAURANT I'VE BEEN TO!!!. I went today for brunch after I got a Dealfind coupon online. Came in the restaurant, it was 1pm, was empty & they manager asked if I had a reservation? & I said no, I have a coupon deal. He said " Do you have it print it out?" I said no. I don't have a printer and I hope that's ok I have the coupon and I can email it to you if you need me to. He said I can't let you have brunch. Without me saying another word he walked away. We could have totally stayed but the rudeness and the arrogance that Argentinians have are ridiculous. I thought that was very rude, and UN-polite from the manager. I am a Brazilian and we fight between our soccer teams. Proud people. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!!!

yes. i think the food was wonderful. the smells coming from the tables made my mouth water, our service was superb, and the atmosphere was great. Coming back!
Great place!. Excellent place. Walked by the other night and decided to give it a try since they had Live Music and the place looked very cozy. Good decision!, the food was very good and the ambience super fun. The Tuna ceviche is to die for and the Veal Chop as well. We got a great red from Argentina, all at a very reasonable price for the quality. One little thing, as we walked in without reservations we were placed too close to the band, it was kinda loud...so next time i'll make sure to call beforehand. Will come back!
Qualty of food/service does not match price. $4 for half a glass of ginger ale. $40 sangria that is water down. And they automatically add 18% tip for two people. And leave a spot for "more tip" on the receipt. I was treating my wife out to nice restaurant. If the food and service match the price, no issue. I've been to Latin America, and this is average Argentinian food. Except for the crispy calamari, nothing else was memorable. The waiter was mediocre and delivered items late. We received the sangria AFTER we just finished our meal. Half the lamb was over cooked, and the other half was done correctly (medium rare). Had to ask for the standard bread and menu. While the waiter was mediocre at best, the "helpers" we good and polite. I wish they would get most of the tip. The low rating is due to the huge discrepancy between quality of food/service to what was charged, charging 18% and calling it "tip", and over all experience. I certainly would not recommend this place to friends.
East Village's great spot for dinner.
An excellent appetizers, great atmosphere and the
menu has a great variety for all tastes. Very affordable and great service. Music is fantastic. Wine selection is the best. It is my favorite place from now on.
Love this place. Recently moved to the East Village and walked by this sexy place. Nice surprise! food was great from appetizer to dessert. I tried the Tuna ceviche, amazing. I loved the combination of tuna, pineapple and ginger. For entree i choose the trout in the paper, and again really good. Very fresh and soft. The dessert was just great, panqueques with the caramel
