Everything bagel + egg + bacon + cheese = Warm belly & smile. Premo bacon in this joint.
One of the best bagel places in New York, though it doesn't look like it. Make sure you go for the "mini" which is better in every way. And get whatever's hot.
really good bagels. I stopped here for a quick lunch. The food was great - I had a bagel with the sundried tomatoes cream cheese, custom salad and a capuccino. the bagel was really fresh, as well as cheese and salad. the cappuccino tasted wierd....you could actually smell that coffee was burnt, also there was a distinctive smell in the cafe...
Nicest best ever. Just called and the ordering was awesome! So pleasant this place is a must.
Worst Customer Service Ever. I wish I could tell you that their bagels are amazing, unfortunately I didn't even get that far. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and asked for 2 slices of salami (surprisingly one of the greatest combo's ever). I wasn't even at the register yet when a boy behind the counter started yelling at me that I was to be charged for a sandwich. Even the other employees were giving him disturbed looks. He rang it up at $8.71!!! I cancelled my order and walked out. It was my first time ever in there and now it is most certainly my last.
Best Bagels in NYC. I moved to the East side, and the thing I miss most about the west side is Brooklyn Bagel & Co. A ton of varieties to choose from, and a great selection of cream cheeses. I will go out of my way to go here if I am in the area. Murray's is OK, this place is the best.
I'm obsessed with Brooklyn Bagels. This place has the best bagels I've had in NYC! They are so chewy and fresh and all around delicious! I love that they come in two sizes - regular (which is HUGE) and mini (which is what most bagels look like). I always order the mini version and it is the perfect size! They have lots of cream cheese choices, including flavores lite and tofu cream cheeses as well! Sandwiches, GREAT coffee, juices, soups, salad bar, and really delicious baked goods as well! It is one of my favorite NYC finds!
best bagels in nyc!. This is the first and only bagel place i've been to in NYC. I'm from NY(long island) and now I'm here in the city for school, so I know bagels. Ever since I ate here I haven't wanted bagels from anywhere else, they just don't seem as good anymore. I usually get whole wheat everything with low fat scallion cream cheese. SO yummy! They also have other breakfast foods(pancakes and waffles) and lunch (sandwiches). I really would recommend it!
great bagels. I've been looking for a good bagel place and this is it. I travel from New jersey to this place because they have the good bagels. There are many bagel places in new york but In my opinion this is the best. If your looking for the chewy, dense type of bagel at a reasonable price you found the right place.
Editorial Review. Choose from a wide selection of individually hand-rolled bagels baked daily and a vast array of specialty cream cheeses.
Great inexpensive lunch spot that is tasty and wholesome!.
I've been in this place about three times now and I really like it! You can build your own (large) salad for under $5 (and it's not some junky iceburg), or have a freshly prepared sandwich or egg dish for about the same. They have lots of juices in the cooler, including fresh squeezed orange juice. The staff is friendly and not in your face, they are quick but patient.
The decor and general atmopshere are nice, also. I like that you can sit at tables in an area where you don't have to stare at the kitchen. Nice green walls and tall windows. A nice place to sit and read a book with a drink or chat with a friend.
I like this place. Surprised it took me so long to get around reviewing Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee. Maybe I want less people to go so I don't have to queue. Laughingly there are a few Starbucks within spitting distance - with the emphasis on spitting. How they have nerve to call that thing 'coffee' when the real deal is so close by. Freshly baked bagels and the good smell of coffee I like this place
