Excellent Atmosphere....Even Better Food

by foodie429

From the moment we entered the restaurant, the staff did everything to make us feel like we were regulars in this neighborhood find! We started with the goat cheese pizza and pulled pork appetizer thinking it couldn't get better from there, but we were definitely wrong. The entrees were even more impressive and the menu has so much range, from a simple burger with not so simple taste, to a delectable braised lamb entree...not one plate on our table dissappointed. The meal ended with what I will say to this day was the most perfect cappuccino I have ever had. Major kudos to the chef and staff of this chic, comfortable and affordable hidden treasure in the heart of the Village.

Limited menu, overpriced

by Galaxy775

After a more than an hour wait, we were expecting much better food. The pate we had as an appetizer was good, but the entrees... I had mussels, which lack in taste and were very cheap, tiny variety. My husband ordered the special of the night - scallops. He was served THREE pieces of scallop for the price of $25! They were ok, but overall we could not help but think that they buy their food in COSTCO. Low quality was written over everything.

  • Pros: Atmosphere
  • Cons: Low quality, overpriced, uninspired menu

The faux Pho---Charming, but disappointing

by ofigs

Off to a bad start with a glass of prosecco that was flat. Male server was really cordial and attentive, but 2 other female servers were gruff, kinda rude and lacking in any finesse. The New French salad is really pretty damn good and can easily be shared by 2. The pulled pork sandwich can be had better at any other BBQ place. The pho was not so good due to it being slathered in cooking oil. My boyfriend had to ladle out half of the both due to it's greasiness, but for what it's worth the noodles and beef, and toppings were okay. Skipped dessert and neaded out disappointed since I really wanted to like this place as it's a cool space with a cute crowd for a Friday night.

  • Pros: cute space
  • Cons: food not so cute
