Editorial Review for Greenwich Steak & Burger – by Kathleen Squires

In Short
Brick walls all around make diners feel like they've entered a house that one of the little pigs built, while the substantial menu requires a big, bad wolf-sized appetite. Like the name says, there's a variety of steaks, burgers (beef, tuna, turkey, crab, salmon, lamb and veggie), and cheesesteaks with cutesy names like the "Fuggettaboutit" (melted mozzarella and bruschetta). But other items like pasta, lobster quesadillas and salmon pizza makes this house even sturdier for groups with diverse tastes.

Daily breakfast offerings go beyond meaty fare with omelets, pancakes and sandwiches.

The Extras

Homemade parmesan potato chips are served instead of the traditional bread basket.

I love it! The food was to die for! I ordered my usual from a steakhouse-- Grilled Skirt Steak. It was so tender and cooked to my perfection. The staff was fabulous--I . That person was so funny, welcoming, helpful and not annoying in the least bit. The price was average for a nice steakhouse...around $20 a plate and I believe you had to order sides separately--don't mark my words though. Nothing could have been better at this place...and I can be picky:)

Pros: steak,staff

It is so obvious that someone in the neighborhood is not happy about this opening. I live right next door and know the true story. The place is hopping at lunchtime every day. The person who wrote the review below is obviously the clown. Probably wrote the rest of them too. GS & B opened once and has been open since. It never opened then closed then re-opened. As a matter of fact, quickest renovation I've seen. This site should be used for real reviews. Maybe if your rhetoric wasn't so hostile someone might believe you. The burgers are really good and the fries and homemade chips are even better. Excellent addition to the area. Make yourself a burger at home. No one wants a customer like yourself anyway. Not Even Walkers.

Pros: Great asst. of Burgers

Cons: No Beer Yet
