customer satisfaction means customer insult....
I was in queens center mall and wanted to buy a phone for my wife, I have not seen this much unorganized business in my life. Once i found two employees just chilling and yapping on a side and asked about a particular phone, one totally ignores me like he couldnt understand English and the other female one said without budging from her chair everything is written there so go and read yourself when i asked about a particular feature of that phone she said just go there and push the button for that. When I insisted she finally got off her rear and was treating with me like i owe these slackers money.
Anyways i went to Roosevelt Avenue and 46 street Sprint store and the guy there was really helpful.
Sprint needs to change their staff right away in queens center mall otherwise no sane person will go to their stores.
Stay far Away from This Store and Danny The Manager!!.
I have been to this store many times without issue, the past 2 years. I went into the store today to swap out a defective Diamond for a replacement. I have TEP. I was told that the device had to be active for 30 days. I explained that the device was activated for months, but due to the defect, I had to de-activate it, and activate a replacement Diamond. And since i was coming into the store today, I re-activated the defective phone to facilitate replacement.
I was told again, that the device was not active for at least 30 days. I spoke with Danny who i think is the Manager, and he said that because of cutomers activating old devices in order to get new devices, there is the 30 day rule. I asked why do I have to walk around with a defective phone activated for 30 days while I can easily re-activate a spare device I have? Hed had no answer, other than to say you have to have the device active for 30 days. I had it active for months prior!!
Danny is a Manager, and should be demoted, due to his lack of knowledge, and his casual 'don't give a crap what you say attitude.' Made me feel like dumping Sprint right then and there. I called Sprint Customer Service and explained my situation. They had no idea why Danny would not look at my device, and had no idea what this guy meant by his 30 day excuse, when my phone was previously activated for months.
Sprint emailed me a repair ticket to bring into a Sprint Repair Store.
Today, it took me 45 minutes to get to and from this Sprint store, in addition to waiting around 20 minutes to be told he can't look at the device, to almost 2 hours on the phones with Sprint during multiple calls regarding this issue,
In total, because this so called manager Danny did not want to help me, he made me waste over 3 Hours of my time. I will definitely be putting in a Complaint about this experience. i have never put in a Complaint before, But this is ridiculous. In fact, I have called Sprint when a Store Rep does his Job, and shows a concern for their Customers, so the reverse should also apply.
I will NOT be going back to this store in Elmhurst, so I will not have to deal with Danny, who should at the least, be spoken to by Sprint Corporate. If he pulls this nonsense with other Customers, it won't be good for Sprint's bottom line.
This guy Danny should start looking for another job, as it is obvious he really doesn't want to be working for Sprint anymore.
